I learned this restaurant will be in business 45 years this year! The owner and his daughter knew just about everyone that came in the door. We sat at the bar, we ate and drank there. The bartender was great. He was so busy but was very good at his job. We never felt neglected. The food was delicious!

Spectacular experience. Came here for an anniversary dinner on the weekend, we had reservations and were seated immediately. The ambiance was warm, comfortable and welcoming. The service was very attentive but not overbearing. We started off with appetizers- bone marrow and hamachi crudo- both were exquisitely presented and tasteful. The beef short rib and roasted duck entrees continued to amaze. We finished off with the black bottom banana cream pie. Easily a very enjoyable and satisfying experience. Would highly recommend and return.

On a friend's suggestion, we met other friends there for dinner. Unfortunately, the night before we ate at a French restaurant in the city and the comparison in price and quality was surprising. . Bread of course was free. As was the second helping of bread with the escargot. All down the line the difference was surprising. In addition while it was an attractive setting, the noise level in Nyack was very difficult to have a conversation.I live on the north shore of Long Island where there are many high end restaurants and the comparison with many was apparent. We also have fabulous bakeries. So the dessert aspect was also surprising. All in all, very disappointing.

This restaurant was on New york Times in 2012, the food, the price is very Manhattan. They have a lot repeat customers, The waiters and the customers look like old friends. Very friendly environment.

I’m not rushing back there. They sat us in the very back, our waiter kept bumping my seat every time he walked past me and never said excuse me. We ordered our food and after 45 minutes of waiting we asked for bread, someone at our table was diabetic. The waiter said okay but it’s $3. It was my husband’s 55th birthday, I wish we didn’t go there. The bill was over $400.For such a fancy and expensive place, they have two prices for everything. One if you’re paying with cash and a costlier one if you pay with credit card. I’m side eyeing that.I’m also surprised they’re allowed to squeeze so many people in there because if there was an emergency, not everyone would get out unharmed.It’s obvious they don’t need to treat their non regulars with respect because they have plenty of business.

The service here is outstanding. The waiters, the hostesses, even the owner all care about you and want you to have a fantastic experience every time you eat here. Their steak is amazing but where HH really shines is their exquisite desert curated by the owner himself. This is the place you come to when you are feeling fancy or having a big event in your life. My only critique if I had one is that I do wish they had maybe a couple more choices on their entree’s like possibly a pasta. Other than that me and my family loving coming here and always have a great time. Thank you so much HH ! Qq
