As a vegan, I love coming here! Their menu offers four vegan options, and the three I’ve tried so far are so tasty! With limited vegan choices in Nyack, I really appreciate that Karenderya stays inclusive and accommodating.

Their dishes remind me of comfort food back home in the Philippines. Especially for me, their Longganisa reminds me of how my grandmother used to make them.
If you have never tried Filipino cuisine, then this place should definitely be on your list to discover. Don't forget to try San Miguel beer or the malted beer, Red Horse, while you dine there. A flavorful taste of the Philippines that is sure to result in a repeat experience, along with renown Filipino hospitality.

An awesome place on Nyack’s Main Street! Came here on a Sunday in October with some friends. The food was awesome— I loved the chicken tocino and the pansit the most. And the LUMPIA… wow. Crispy and delicious. The “cherry on top” was the Halo Halo— my first time having this amazing dessert.

If you’re in the area, or even if you’re NOT in the area, Karenderya is worth the trip!!

We visited this lovely little restaurant on a Sunday in September 2024 and we loved the food.

We started off with a Lumpiang Shanghai, which are little mini spring rolls. We had the Adobo Pork Belly and the Shrimp Coconut Adobo. Both were well portioned and delicious and a lot filling than I expected. The pork belly was juicy, tender, and well seasoned. The Shrimp Coconut Adobo had 8 shrimps which was a welcomed surprised. The coconut sauce was heavenly and the garlic rice was unbeatable.

We followed it up with the Flan with cashew brittle which was also excellent. The decor was reminiscent of south east Asia and the selection of 80’s hits that played at a comfortable volume made me feel like I very much was in SE Asia.

The woman who looked to be the owner of the place was very friendly and the wait staff was attentive if not a little shy.

We would definitely come here again. Nice gem on Main Street Nyack.

Went here with a friend of mine and service here was sooo cute and homey. I think it’s a family run business and they were the sweetest. First time having this cuisine and it was tasty! I have added pictures of everything we ate that I would recommend. 🥰

Without a doubt this is my favorite restaurant since moving to New York. I eaten at Karenderya a month ago and my taste buds went wild then soon as I left I was instantly craving their food. Finally made it back with my visiting parents who were craving the same thing! My parents ordered Daing na Bangus with an extra milkfish because it is that delicious to them! I enjoyed the tocino last visit so I decided to be adventurous try other items lo and behold the Adobo Pork Belly was exquisite. The pork belly was marinated well filled with flavor from the first bite and it simply melted in my mouth. Let’s say we all cleaned our plates. The atmosphere is a homey feeling serving us homemade food made with love, welcoming hospitality and food served in a timely manner. We will be back again hopefully to become a regular!

Wow! The best Filipino restaurant I think I’ve ever been to. Everything we ate was delicious: the wings, the bangus, the vegetables, even the calamnsi dressing in the cucumber tomato side salad was great…I can’t wait to go back and try more of the food!

Delicious food. We had ox tail stew and vegetarian noodles and both were exquisite! You can tell they put love when preparing the food. The calamansi juice was so refreshing. Don't forget to get the turon for dessert and the lumpiang as an appetizer. The service was excellent. I'm already planning to go again and you should
