Love this place so much! The chicken chaufa is my favorite dish. Their ceviche is phenomenal. Maura is an amazing chef and her love for food really comes through in all the dishes. Tyrone, Maura’s son and co-owner, is also such a good host. The whole staff, including Katy are amazing. Such a welcoming environment and an amazing experience. 100000/10 recommend

Absolutely love Maura’s, food, atmosphere and service always top tier! Can’t deny I’m a regular, the filet mignon and macho pasta are to die for! Can’t wait for the big event this weekend! I’m ready to dance some salsa!

I went with my husband to try a new Peruvian restaurant but the arroz with mariscos didn’t have flavor at all. It has too many mussels instead more variety of seafood. The meat from the Lomo Saltado was uncooked. The plate only had few onions and more tomatoes. The lady who took the order didn’t offer any drinks. She was not courteous to bring us salt or hot pepper. I am sorry but this restaurant doesn’t have the REAL PERUVIAN FLAVOR!

I was excited to try this spot since it’s advertised as Peruvian, but if you’ve ever had authentic Peruvian food, you’ll notice right away this is not the real thing. The restaurant itself is lovely inside and the waitresses are kind and attentive, so the atmosphere is welcoming. Unfortunately, the menu and flavors just don’t represent true Peruvian cuisine. If you’re going to promote yourselves as Peruvian, I’d suggest revisiting the menu and working on authenticity — the best Peruvian food is bold, vibrant, and unmistakable. This place has potential, but it’s not there yet. Maybe contact the owners of aji Lima in Ossining and learn from them!

Man, I don’t know where to start. The best part of this meal was that I got ice cream next door while waiting for my food.

The chaufa had some weird notes/ flavors. It tastes slightly sweet… why? The shrimp soup was also too sweet.

The empanada platter was terrible. It stars like it fried in super old oil and fillings were just offensive. What was that green sauce that came with it? 🤢

The only slightly good thing was the lomo saltado… the odd thing about it is that the fries were packaged separately. This gives me the impression that everything is cooked separately and thrown together.

Anyway, I wish I would have read the negative reviews first.
