This was my first time coming for brunch (Sunday 9/29-11am) and it will not be my last. Our waitress was not only efficient she was extremely friendly and gave us a great experience. She was the only one on duty and you would not have known given her attention to our table. I hope this review reaches her as she deserves a shout out! The ambiance was beautiful. The food delicious! We will definitely be back.

The evening started well with a hummus platter and refreshing drinks. As for our main event dinner experience that was reserved way in advance, the mood changed along with the service. The dining service experience was overshadowed by a double booked drinking event taking up staff resources. Besides the service, I was looking forward to some fresh local food and it was not spectacular. The branzino was chewy and the simple side of asparagus was not fresh. I had a taste of the crusted salmon, and it was tender and enjoyable. Service was dragging so we skipped dessert.

What a great surprise! I had been to a couple of parties in the hotel's private rooms and while there checked out the restaurant, The Farm. Liking what I saw, I made a mental note to return for dinner one day. So my sister's birthday was coming up and I decided the occasion was the perfect time to try The Farm. We were 4 and to say that we were very happy with every aspect of the restaurant would be an understatement. It's a large, open, modern space with huge windows at one end that let in an abundance of natural light. Tables are well spaced and the room is divided into a few rooms but without solid walls so that even though it wasn't crowded when we were there, it didn't feel empty at all. Wait staff (Petr from Czech Republic) was cheerful, friendly and helpful with the menu. He allowed us to have a leisurely meal and never intruded until we asked for service. Now about the food! Everything we ordered was very good and served elegantly. Specifically, we had calamari, beet salad, minestrone soup, rigatoni bolognese, short rib risotto, and wild mushroom tagliatelle with a side of crispy Brussels sprouts. Portions were generous, we shared a lot and still took some home. Desserts were excellent as well—pecan pie with a side of vanilla ice cream and a dish of ice cream, 3 flavors. Wine by the glass was very generously poured and the birthday girl had a margarita that she proclaimed was delicious. I feel I must be leaving something out, but in closing I'm giving The Farm 5 Stars and enthusiastically recommending it to anyone wanting a good meal in a very pleasing space. Lastly, I'll say that I thought prices were very reasonable given how wonderful everything was.

It is a very beautiful indoor and outdoor restaurant. The food was good but very expensive and small portions. When you make changes to the menu (as a vegetarian) they still charge you the same price without the same ingredients. The service was amazing and staff was sweet and very attentive. They were great with my son's allergy and were able to accommodate. Try their daily happy hour 4-6 with normal drink prices. $7 and $8 wines and beer.

Thought outside seating would be as nice as inside seating rather than just a place for the swimmers to come and get a quick bite and take a rest. Bench picnic tables ? Really ? So disappointing for a birthday outing

Brutal! Server was the worst! We just sat down and he asked what we wanted to order so we asked for more time-he came back 2mins later. We ordered brunch items with coffee; including a first course of fruit and soup but everything came out on a cart at the same time like it was room service. Server told us they were having a tough time in the back due to two events the night before-completely not our problem until it was. I was really hopeful that things would be better than our last time there but unfortunately that wasn't the case. It's a shame because the place is super cool but the food and service are horrible.

Surprisingly for a hotel restaurant the food was very good. I had the Waygu burger medium rate and that is how it came. My wife had the short rib risotto and it also was very good. If you are staying at Hotel Nyack you would not be disappointed

We spent the night at the Hotel Nyack on a roadtrip and the excellent reviews for FARM led me to make a reservation. I got a little nervous when there wasn't a ton of other seated tables in their playfully chic dining room, but it was a summer Wednesday night and hopefully that was a fluke because their food was excellent! We had: pretzel dusted calamari, burrata salad, loaded homemade tostada chip nachos, lobster ravioli, rigatoni Bolognese, and salmon subbing the seared Brussels sprouts for the jasmine rice. It really was all well crafted by someone with astute tastebuds, and the portions were generous. I would definitely eat there again. Very nice servers, too. Our room rate included breakfast, and our server from the night before had tipped us off that you can order their desserts for breakfast. My one kid who blew themselves out with the apps and pasta made sure to order the banana pie with homemade cream drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce, on a toffee crunch crust. I think they called it the banoffe pie. The waiters said it was their favorite dessert there - and my kid was in swoon mode. The breakfasts the rest of us ordered were fantastic, too. A stack of gorgeous fresh blueberry pancakes, omelette with spinach and Gruyère accompanied by good fresh salads... I highly recommend. Very solid quality coffee, to boot. Our morning server, Erica, was so fun and charming. I hope the hotel corporation who bought this really fantastically decorated boutique hotel appreciate what an excellent chef they seemed to acquire along with the property. One critique: the melted ricotta over the Bolognese looked wonderful, but it would have been better without it. The sauce was too good for its unnecessary presence. I'd leave it off. Try this place!

The food was delicious and came out quick. The wine I ordered was warm and the Kayla the first server we had was very nice. The gentleman who took over was not rude but not the more friendly or accommodating. Overall a great mean in a nice venue.

This place was one of my worst recent dining experiences. The food was terrible. My guest ordered chicken and waffles and the chicken was sopping in grease. My order, the eggs benedict was poor at best, the hollendaise sauce was watery and the eggs were under cooked and runny not soft boiled and creamy. The waitress was a young girl who didn't seem able to add and who left us waiting for service far too long. Granted, they had three other events going concurrently, but if that was the reason for our horrible experience, they shouldn't over book! Needless to say, we won't be returning and I've rescheduled a second visit I'd hope to make later this month. Disappointing in so many ways, Farm should be put out pasture.

The food was pretty good. The waiter was practically whispering for some reason, even as the place turned into a very loud club. The ambience and decor is really nice but don't go on a Friday night unless you're there for the music and dancing. It gets VERY loud.

It was a great option in a land of very few restaurants that were open for lunch in the area. This restaurant is in a hotel and gives off that vibe. There were strange banquet table rounds in the middle of the restaurant. Definitely throwing off the aesthetic. We were one of three tables and our server was lovely and patient..letting us linger.

Easter brunch was lovely with attentive service. When they ran out of lamb the manager brought us a special dish of short ribs and then the chef came over to make sure we were happy with it. The hostess kindly stored my 92 year old mom's walker . Proactive and kind is hard to find. The only negative is the buffet should have had desserts. We were offered ice cream since there weren't any desserts... and weren't told there was a charge for that ice cream. The bill was therefore a bit surprising. But overall a lovely place and experience.

This is a beautiful restaurant in a gorgeous setting. It's got a great vibe and they had wonderful live music for Valentine's Day. We did have a set menu- the food is the weak link here. It was just ok. If you are going to have a set menu you should really be able to knock it out of the park! The zucchini pancakes were mushy inside- the risotto was more like regular rice, potatoes were under done. The salad and the scallops were very good. Just not consistent. Not sure I would give them another shot.?
