Great bar with solid food and a good mood. Unlike many other restaurants in Nyack, Prohibition actually dims their lights to create some ambiance! Only good times while listening to the live music (which they play at the perfect volume so you can talk at the same time).

I only ordered dessert so I can't speak on the entrees, but the tres leches was kinda dry even after soaking it. The staff were incredibly kind though and I will definitely be back to try something else on the menu.

Genuinely great food, and the staff and chef were fantastic - great hospitality. We had the cheese shots, steak fries, and the ribeye, all fantastic and innovative. The steaks were of very good quality, the best that we've had in months and cooked perfectly. The apple pie egg roll dessert as great as well. Highly recommend!

Fantastic service. Our waitress was so kind, informative, and diligent in taking care of us. I highly applaud good service as it is rare these days. This was the best part of the experience.
The food was tasty. Really wonderful ingredients. High quality and the price point shows. The food was good, don’t get me wrong, but it wasn’t anything that I would write home about. It was solid, and I’m sure it would be consistent if and when I return.
The ambiance is quite nice. I heard they have live jazz on Fridays, too.
Prohibition River is a solid spot for a high quality, mid to upscale meal that delivers in flavor and service. Try it for yourself and you will taste the care that went into your dining experience.

Just had lunch here. The Rockland Rollatini was delicious. The service was excellent and atmosphere was great. You arent on top of the next table. The chef came to our table and was great. Will definitely be back.

Pass on it - unless you have hours to kill. Drinks won't even come in a timely fashion. Food was fine - took an hour to arrive. It was lunch time - not even busy. Waiter tried - but he wasn't getting much support. Even bartender, too busy talking to her friends at the bar, didn't bother mentioning she ran out of the beer we ordered. SO you don't have others? Sorry - it was not fun. Won't recommend, won't return.
