Awesome restaurant in the middle of a very cute street. Staff was very nice and such great food, especially the chicken wings and the prohibition Burger. Also learned that they own the ice cream shop next door. Definitely recommended!

Every time I come here the cocktails are not great. Tiny salads for $18 when you can get a burger for 20. I would order a salad at 12 or $13 but 18? You’re losing money there. If the salad price was reasonable I would get a salad and a burger. Or entree. Mediterranean shrimp platter had barely any couscous in it a lot of olives like maybe 20 Kalamata olives, and the shrimp were just OK. A piece of pita bread or some thing on the side would’ve helped. I really like the atmosphere there and I wish that they would change up the menu more or have more specials and reduce the salad price. At least on Friday and Saturday have a couple of specials. They did have two drink specials, which was nice to see.

We came here so hungry and excited because we loved this place. They apparently got a new owner, the food is god awful. The Mac and cheese used to be SO GOOD here and this one tasted like something you get at dollar tree. Salad was nothing special and chicken was burnt. Also mushroom po’boy was not crispy and super dry. Fries were okay though.

We picked this place because of the great interior and location. However, we were very disappointed. The tap water tasted like toilet water, the waiters took forever to take our orders down, our food also took forever, the fries and sandwich were loaded with salt, and the salad was unbelievably tiny. We ended up leaving hungry and annoyed. Please do not come here.

Food was absolutely delicious. Shortrib empanadas were tasty and perfectly fried. Spicy chicken sandwich a must try. And the IPA was ice cold. We sat outside in a cool evening. It is located in the cute Hudson-front town of Nyack. But the service was extremely slow for a half empty restaurant on a Tuesday evening. If the young lady remained odd her phone then this restaurant would easily get 5 stars.

We were greeted by the owner of Prohibition River as if we were old friends. That set the tone for a great outdoor dining experience in Nyack. This is a vegetarian friendly restaurant with plenty of choices for meat lovers. The grilled Salmon over soba noodles was delicious. The drink menu is impressive as well. We will be coming back!
I ordered the "special" meatloaf... horrible. I was very disappointed as the waiter suggested this dish. The "gravy" was the same sauce as the Guinness braised short rib. My app was the grilled cheese shots. Small grilled cheese sandwiches, with a shot of tomato soup.... tasted like jarred pizza sauce. My husband had the onion soup and short ribs, very tasty.

The atmosphere is very cozy, calm, the menu is simple, they are not varied, I ordered a well-cooked hamburger and it came raw, the waiter apologized and tried to change it but I said that he didn't offer me a free dessert. In the end he charged me for the hamburger and didn't give it to me. I ate! I would not go back
