I had such a wonderful experience at this sushi restaurant. The atmosphere is calm and tranquil, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. Located right on Main Street in Franklin and Nyack, it’s convenient and welcoming from the moment you walk in.
The sushi itself is outstanding — incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The rolls are not only delicious but also creative, with unique combinations that really stand out. Every bite tasted like it was crafted with care and attention to detail.
If you’re looking for a spot with a peaceful vibe and absolutely top-notch sushi, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Everything was fresh, high quality, and absolutely delicious. Very nice staff.
Great family option for Japanese food lovers 💯
Great sushi and we order all the time from here! Shrimp tempura is excellent and they have so many options to fit everyone’s preferences. One thing I would like to note is that sometimes when you order for pickup they do forget things (ex. spicy mayo, which you have to pay extra for) so make sure you check the bag to ensure you have all of your order, but they are also very busy and things like this happen :) Great food and great service, looking forward to coming back.
Good food, excellent service!
This little place is an absolute jem. Of course great and fresh sushi. But the service is second to none. Li Cheng, who goes by Eric, was one of the best servers I ever had in my life. He is like a lightning bolt; he is nonstop gliding across the dining room. He saw in advance everything we wanted. Unbelievable experience! We will be back. And I suggest you try this place out.

It was the best Japanese food I've ever had! Everything was so fresh, and they even had tons of vegetarian options—which can be hard to find at a sushi spot. I am vegetarian but my husband who had sushi and Duck bun was also very impressed with the food.

Small, outdated space with subpar service. If you advertise yourself as a BYOB, you do not charge your customers a cork fee of $20 for bringing your own bottles of wine to the dinner. A huge red flag among quite a few others in this place. Will never be back there ever again.

Entrance is not well lit, hard to see if they are open during the day.
Inside the atmosphere is cozy and soothing.
Food is tasty but over priced.
Service is great, above my expectations.

Delightful surprise for dinner. Quality Japanese cuisine especially a variety of sushi rolls. Was a patron of its predecessor but Raku surpasses with an interesting and varied menu. We shall gladly return.

The sushi was absolutely delicious but the waitress/hostess was incredibly rude and kind of ruined the experience. The rest of the staff we interacted with were fine.
