The offer vegan pancakes, but NEVER have them available when I try to order them. So why even advertise that you have them? You're in a town that has A LOT of vegans/vegetarians, yet you never have your one option for them available. How does that even make sense??! Then, they hardly ever answer the phone. When you question them about it, they say they were on the phone with other people. Then maybe you should make your phone give the busy signal when you're on the phone! It's really annoying trying to like this place when they don't think of the small details.
This restaurant is a small, compact, and cozy spot that has been a landmark in Nyack for over 60 years. The menu is super extensive — there’s a huge variety — and everything I’ve tried has been well-prepared.
Some of my favorites include the traditional breakfast, which comes with coffee or tea, as well as the sandwiches and the daily specials listed on the chalkboard above the counter. There are tons of options, and service is impressively fast.
The staff are very nice and always willing to accommodate people the best they can, even when the place is busy.
I recommend going on a weekday to avoid crowds, or calling ahead if you’re planning to visit with family on the weekend, as it gets packed all day Saturday and Sunday. Even so, the kitchen is efficient, the seasoning is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable.

Clearly a beloved establishment within the community. The service was very attentive— everyone in here radiated positivity and kind energy. And the menu was so diverse, I was having a difficult time deciding what to eat. Ultimately I ended up choosing this delicious French toast with yogurt and berries. Would come back if I were in the area!

The food was amazing, and the coffee was fresh. What made me even happier was seeing the staff take care of a neighborhood lady who was going through a rough patch, which shows that genuine kindness in humanity isn’t gone. Thank you so much!

It was a quaint little place and the food was average. Coffee was good but that's it. It took 30 minutes to have someone take our order. We were about to leave but I waved someone over because we had a place to be and didn't really want to go around trying g to find another place. Keep inmind 3 other tables were sat and got their order in before us. When I ordered I asked for extra butter on my toast and cheddar cheese for my omelet. When we got our foodtheir.was lobster on my toast and no cheese on my omelet. I had to ask a few times.for a warm up on my coffee and nobody checked on us after we got our food. SUCKED
So loud and it seemed like more staff than patrons

We moved from rockland 3 years ago and used to LOVE Strawberry place. Back in town and had to visit.
Nothing changed - the food is amazing, the staff is wonderful and we wish we could find a place 1/2 as good in PA

This place makes great breakfast food, but definitely be prepared to wait. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends and service can be on the slower side since they’re so busy. We enjoyed the Good Morning Nyack, with eggs, homefries, sausage and sourdough toast, as well as the French Toast with chocolate chips and whipped cream.
