Used to love coming to temptations all these years but after the recent transfer of ownership the quality of food and especially service has gone down, I don’t typically leave reviews like these, but my experience tonight wasn’t great and solidified my feelings. Understandingly after a busy day with a street fair the staff may be tired, but the store was still open so the service should still be welcoming..I called to make sure they were open 30 minutes before closing and on the phone were already saying they were about to close..we arrive the man behind the counter is clearly overextended by the end of the day and the service didn’t go very well he was short and overall unwelcoming. Got some ice cream to go and the Reese’s topping was very stale. Just the service and quality has gone down. Felt it warranted a review unfortunately.

Just stopped by for ice cream and it was amazing!!! i got the ummm cookies and cream and trash something on a cone! 10/10!!! Such sweet people who work there. definitely will be stopping by again :)

Unfortunately the worst soft serve ice cream I’ve ever had. The machine has probably never been cleaned. Not cheap either at $4.50 for a small.

This place used to be a staple of the community. It had such a "Nyack" vibe, with its quirky art and rustic atmosphere. It felt like an old fashioned ice cream place. At some point it changed owners and became some kind of corny caricature of a 1950s diner or soda place, and the food became garbage. Now someone else has it I think and it's like completely stripped of any of the charm or character it ever had. It's as neutral and boring as a place could possibly be. I will always miss the sweet potato fries with the horseradish aioli, and drinking milkshakes on the benches under the windows. I feel like nobody involved with this place now ever experienced it as it was when it was great.

Yesterday I bought their whole cannoli birthday cake. It was very dry. I didn’t expect this from Rockland County bakery. They really need to pay better attention to the birthday cakes being made in the back.

If I could give less than 1 star for service and atmosphere I would. First when I asked for a sample he abruptly stated "you only get one sample". The sample had hardly any ice cream on it so I had to choose that one because there were many more to try.We got our ice cream 20 minutes prior to closing and sat outside. At exactly 8:50 he came outside to grab the tables and chairs around us and then stood by us and said we had to move, and took our table and chairs. He then proceeded to go inside and sat on the ice cream counter and Went on his phone. He then told people who pulled on the door they were closed well before 9:00.

Wow, came here on a recommendation. Didn’t look like much outside and inside I thought they only had ice cream. But then I sat in the cozy back area and had the best salad I’ve had since was in Italy.

The food is amazing here and I recommend trying them when you have a chance. They have a great menu selection and the service is one of a kind. And it's a great place for the entire family too.
Ice cream is good but 10 dollar minimum in 2022 for card come on I know the fees are expensive for cards but still.

Stopped in after a long midday hike at Nyack Beach St. Pk. on 1/2, 2 older couples (New Rochelle and S. Orange) still not comfortable dining inside. Sat out and ordered fish tacos, fish sandwich, corn soup and felafel. Everything totally outstanding, flavorful and perfectly prepared. We'll definitely come back soon to hike and adventure just to eat their food. Mark this place, it's that good!

Popped in for some ice cream and was blown away by how good it was. I ordered the Blueberry Cheesecake and Graham Slam. The scoops were chuck full of actual cheesecake and Graham crackers. Probably the most chunks I have ever had in an ice cream. The flavors are STRONG and the perfect level of sweet The small (two scoops) is enough ice cream to fill your belly, cool you down, and satiate your cravings.
