We walked in 15 minutes to the kitchen closing and were not rushed at all. In fact the food that came out was not just delicious, but presented beautifully! Really appreciate the service and staff for taking good care of us even though we came in so late on a Sunday. Look forward to coming back in the future.

Dinner never disappoints. The portions are enough to take home for another meal. The lemon potatoes are full of flavor. You can never go wrong with the Greek salad with the house dressing and chicken souvlaki. We’ve dined in and had take out and always pleased. The service is consistently good.
Came to Kavos Grill for the first time with my family . Food was exquisite. The chicken souvlaki was fantastic. The everything was amazing. Service always with a smile. Clean atmosphere. Definitely would recommend it.

We got there and waited a while for someone to serve us. Nobody came so we sat ourselves down. Manager was too busy chatting to notice his customers. He was speaking and giving everyone attention except us. (We were the only young adults there) Felt like we were being discriminated bc we looked young. Only person that seemed to care was our waitress, who probably wasn’t even suppose to be our waitress. Everyone at the restaurant was being checked up on and served regular by the same girl, we were the only ones that were given a different lady.I ordered the chicken gyro platter and the chicken was really dry. Rice was bland and salad was alright. Mediocre food.At the end we asked the lady to speak with the manager, she had to call him over several times and even yell at him before he gave us any attention. Only for him to address our concerns with a dismissive tone and uninterested attitude.

I ordered the chicken gyro platter. It came with fries, a side salad, about 1/2 (or less) of a pita cut up into wedges. The "chicken" was long strips of cut up meat which was supposedly chicken, but which was unpalatable and I threw out almost all of it. The small salad was ok, and I ate all of that. I threw out most of the fries as well. Disappointing. I will likely not go there again.
I couldn't believe the size of the Greek salad I had. The grilled chicken in the salad was amazing and their homemade salad dressing was to die for! They should bottle and sell it!

Stopped by Nyack for a day trip and found this great Greek restaurant!! It's quaint, and what I would describe as a Greek cafe vibe!! We stopped by for a lunch and were not disappointed! The grilled octopus on a Kavos Roka was yummy! The Kavos Gyro was very good! Nice portions and very reasonably priced! The octopus is so tender not chewy! For dessert it had to be Baklava, which was so darn good!!! The service was very special-- shout out to Dimitri, the owner, for checking in on us to say hello and to Noemy, our friendly server!! Oh, and they have a bar too!! A must visit if you are fond of Greek food!!
As Greeks of course when we saw this place we got in.We didn't expect to see "our" food so good ,so far away from home.Its common to see greek food outside Greece being totally different (in a bad way).That's not true for Kavos!We felt like we where back to Greece!Also the prices where the most "logicall" we found in our trip.The guys also was excellent examples of Greek "philoxenia"!Well done!Keep up the good work!???
