We had a great afternoon at the bar. It happened to be customer appreciation day, the bar filled up with regulars. We were happy to see the support from the neighborhood. The bartender was very nice.

PROS: This bar is very quaint and located near the heart of Nyack. Has tons of parking in the lot across the street. The bartender was very nice, place was clean, and it seemed like the local bar every native goes to CONS: The owner was a tad mean to us and they only have hot dogs there that they overcook. It's also cramped inside OVERALL: Not my go-to place for the night but I do recommend coming in every now and then just to see if its active with people

If you're a whiskey lover (Japanese, Irish, or bourbon) and in the Rockland area....GO here! You won't regret it. Everyone is awesome, and the selections are fantastic. To top it off, the price are beyond reasonable, and the flight specials are so worth it. Side note real tequila lover's. You'll appreciate that they carry Don Fulano. Be here if you can! Love this place.

best dive bar in Rockland, this bar have the best draft beer, bourbon or whisky...but that is not that bar can offer, all the staff and customers they always welcomes you like a good friend and cheers with you as one! come and join this big family and drink some good draft beer ? see ya at The Local ?
This place was not it. They told us they were closed with people in it. Then people taunted us saying we could not get in, felt kinda racial. I'm glad other people called them out.Edit: Checked back an hour later, and people are still in having a good time.

Horrible experience last night at this place. Went on Yelp to find a place open. In town on business. Offered a free drink if you check in. When I got there and showed the bartender, he snapped at me and said they are not affiliated with Yelp at all. I proceeded to use the restroom to wash my hands and forgot to lock the door. The same male bartender proceeded to walk in on me while putting on lip balm. When I returned to the bar, he humiliated me and accused me of doing something illegal in the bathroom . I was humiliated and left. I will never return! One star because I had to.

It’s a drinking place with wonderful Hotdogs. So if that’s the place you’re looking for then you have hit pay dirt!! It’s fun and crazy but probably better for the younger generation

Absolutely love this place. Got to meet the owner Travis who was awesome. The bartender Rob was great and made solid recommendations for beers that I would normally not try and loved. Small local spot with great beers. Just wish they had a few more bar food snacks/options but will definitely be going back!
