Appetizers were small and seem to not be made from scratch. Entree small portions, pasta wasn’t cook, barely eatable. Way overpriced for what you get. Also bartender was coughing and sneezing wiping his nose on his sleeve seem to be sick. Went there because of past positive experiences but apparently has gone down hill. Won’t be suggesting or going again.

This restaurant is a real find, perfect location overlooking the Tappan Zee bridge, the service was quick and organized, the atmosphere was calm and harmonious, and about the food, everything was carefully plated in a 5-star style, and the prices are affordable, I had the lobster risotto which was by far the best seafood plate I've ever had. It was well worth the visit and I will definitely come back again. Note, don't leave without trying the Truffle Dessert it was totally amazing

This is a wonderful restaurant that has gotten even better over the years. Food has consistently been fabulous, and the service could not be better. Amiable staff, beautiful location, and now we have the bonus of a new parking lot. I travel from New Jersey to meet Westchester family and friends a couple of times a year. Never disappointed. Maybe a little pricey, but isn't everywhere these days, and I never regret the expense.

My husband and I met 2 friends for dinner and sat outside on a beautiful evening, on a balcony overlooking a parking lot with the Hudson River in the distance and a view of the Tappan Zee Bridge. The service was amazing and our waiter was friendly, warm and attentive. We asked him for recommendations- which did not disappoint. We all liked everything we ordered.

Staff didnt let us sit anywhere but the bar unless all 3 of us ordered our own lunch even though there were only 2 tables taken and near the end of lunch. We wanted apps and drinks and they wouldn't let us sit anywhere but the bar.

We just had our wedding at 2 Spear Street and it could not have gone better. Our guests had a wonderful time, service was fantastic, the food was wonderful, I can't say enough! Grace made sure everything was just right during the reception and Tommy saw that all the details were taken care of. And thank you Angelo for you suggestions and insight into what works best! The room is wonderful with a great view. I couldn't recommend anyplace more highly!

The service was not good. We waited nearly just under an hour to get drinks and bread we continue to had to ask for one of our drinks. The waitress never came over to the table to ask how our food was. The bus boy basically waited on us after we flagged the waitress down she took our order and that was the last time we saw her. We had to go up to the bar so we could pay the bill. The food was guided, but other than that everything else was not what we would have expected.

Overall this is consistently one of the best dining experiences in the area. The interior is a bit noisy but eating outside is a great summer experience. The food is consistently good and nicely presented. The service is friendly but a little too laid back.

We had a reservation through OpenTable for a few weeks before the scheduled date. We even left a voice message morning of the dinner to request in seating location. We showed up for our 7pm reservation. They were closed to the public. They had a wedding underway inside. There was no staff in sight to touch base with. Obviously we left, as we did not want to disturb the wedding. No one reached out to us to cancel or apologize.

Amazing as always! Thanks to Amanda and the staff here to make the firework display even better. We joined on the very busy evening of July fourth! I am usually not one to leave reviews but it was astonishing to me to hear a table of women be so rude to the staff working terribly hard to please Everyone on such a busy night. We had the “joy” of sitting near three women who were miserable and nasty from the second they walked in to the second they left, and made it a point for everyone to know. But they couldn’t ruin my dinner!! Such a sad and Embarrassing display of character. This restaurant is great, the staff is great, the food is great. We will be back soon!!

⭐ 1 Star – A July 4th Dinner Disaster (But Hey, the Fireworks Were Free!)

We came to Two Spear Street on July 4th, dreaming of a festive holiday dinner by the water. You know—great food, chill vibes, fireworks… the whole patriotic package. What we got instead was a 2.5-hour wait, stale bread, and a surprise insect wriggling around our plate like it was on vacation. Truly, the American nightmare.

And just when we thought it couldn’t get any worse, over strolls a waitress who looked like she borrowed her work permit from her older sibling. She calmly informed us—with the confidence of someone who’s never eaten in a restaurant before—that our plate had actually gone to the wrong table first. Oh, of course it did! And those poor folks ate it, obviously—because they, too, were starving hostages in this foodless funhouse. Bon appétit, strangers!

When we politely mentioned the bug in the food, she hit us with the classic: “It was probably just a fly flying by.” Oh, thank goodness—it was just a fly-by infestation, not a permanent resident. Totally fine! Honestly, I can’t wait for the house special next time: pan-seared protein with legs.

Meanwhile, the manager was outside, probably auditioning for America’s Got No Talent, belting out “Born in the USA” next to a hot dog stand while the inside of the restaurant spiraled into what can only be described as culinary anarchy. Tables were abandoned, servers were confused, and hunger levels were reaching DEFCON 1.

But wait! The real stars of the evening?
The “bus boy” (pretty sure he wandered over from a movie set) who turned out to be the most helpful and competent person in the building. Big applause for him for doing literally everyone else’s job.
The sweet-as-pie waitress who graciously made sure everything—including the wrong food, the bug, and our time—was not added to our check.
And the smooth-talking waiter they sent over to charm us like we were on a bad reality dating show. Spoiler: didn’t work, but A+ for effort and cheekbones.

In the end, the only decent part of the night was the fireworks at Memorial Park—which, unlike the kitchen staff, showed up on time, sparkled, and didn’t crawl across our plate.

Would we go back? Only if we’re filming a sequel to Fyre Festival: Riverfront Edition. If you’re craving dinner with a side of chaos, stale carbs, and free-range insects, you’ve found your spot.

Otherwise? Save your night, your appetite, and your sanity—and eat literally anywhere else. Preferably where the waitstaff can legally drive and the bugs have to pay cover.

Yours truly,
The Palate Patrol

We had a great dinner at Two Spear Street. Lobster with risotto was the best dish. We also had the crispy skin salmon which was nice. However make sure you have a reservation. We didn't and they almost wouldn't seat us because they said they were 'fully booked' despite the restaurant being 70% empty at 6pm on a Saturday night. When we left there were still 6 empty tables which we thought was really odd. It didn't make for the best first impression. I did try to make a reservation but open table also said none available?
