Not a very happy experience but I don't really blame them. It's Christmas eve, maybe 6:15pm. We happen to be driving by, and saw the place was crowded. We stopped in, at the counter we said we wanted to make an order to go and the young girl was happy to help us. Out of the blue a gentleman groans out, no more kitchen orders loudly. The girl looked horrified, and was apologetic. It smelled good inside so disappointed we couldn't try it. A simple I'm sorry the kitchen just closed, happy holidays, goes a long way. I get the frustration of running a food establishment especially during the holidays. But we felt like we were the problem. Maybe we'll try again, maybe not.

Food was extremely lackluster with almost 0 flavor. Server was slow and honestly seemed like he didn’t care when we didn’t like The quality of the food. We didn’t even eat the food that was served to us just left it on the table and asked for the check

Whether you dine in or order pizza to go, you will be happy you went to Mama's. I love coming here on pasta nights (Monday and Tuesday) for the (very reasonably) fixed price meals that include soup/salad, entree, dessert, and wine. There's always enough to re heat for lunch the next day. If you have friends from out of town that want to try real long island pizza you should order from Mama's. I moved away and I cry every time I eat their za. The servers are so hard working and friendly. Shout out to Christy!! She's killing it!! Ps - pasta nights get BUSY so it would be smart to make a reservation.

I'm not sure if we would go back. Service and atmosphere were nice.. but the tomato sauce on the lasagna was not that great. Had no flavor at all. I ordered fried veal cutlet.. I was disappointed, as it was batter dipped deep fried.. I guess I expected pan-fried in breadcrumbs and seasoning on it. Maybe just an off night.

With out question, the best veal parm on Long Island. Great Italian bread too. Awesome service and the portions are large! Good drinks from the bar as well.

Their pizza is pretty good, otherwise I haven’t tried their fancy restaurant side. The crust has a nice crunch to it and the flavor is good, toppings always seem fresh as well. Location is nice as it’s in a little plaza next to some other stores.

They make the best Fettuccine Alfredo and their garlic knots are so good!
