The view was great and service. We had the fish tacos- very dry and unable to eat The ahi taco was uneventful and the lobster roll was full of bread and lobster not so fresh. The Thai calamari was tasteful but I would not rave on the food. But the service and atmosphere is fine. It’s really a place for the view.

Our wedding at The Wharf in Oakdale was everything we dreamed of and more! This isn’t your typical ballroom venue—it has a laid-back, summer-on-the-water vibe that feels like the best kind of outdoor party you’d have with all your favorite people. Think string lights, dockside breezes, and that perfect mix of casual and magical.
Even with the rain, the party never skipped a beat. The staff handled everything flawlessly and made sure our day was seamless from start to finish. A huge shoutout to Holly, Justin, and Emily—they were absolute pros. Every detail was taken care of, every question answered, and every moment managed with care and enthusiasm. They made us feel at ease and let us fully enjoy our day without a single worry. Not to mention they are just the nicest, most genuine people ever.
Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had and how beautiful everything looked, rain and all. I can’t wait to update this review with photos from the photographer. Working with “The Wharf” has exceeded our expectations. The staff and management has been incredibly accommodating, not just the day of the event, but also during the planning process. They did not miss a detail. The space is beautiful, the food was delicious. Our friends and family were in the best hands. The friendliness of the staff has been complimented by many of them. This was a great place to spend our last night on Long Island. The staff was a couple of really friendly young guys who waited on us hand and foot, despite not having anyone to work the tables.
We had the Salted Caramel Mules, which were absolutely delicious. I wish I had had time to have a couple more. I had the coconut shrimp, which was cooked to perfection, and my husband had a nice, juicy burger with crispy fries. All of our food was steaming hot.
Perhaps the best part was that we arrived just before sunset and had a beautiful view of the sun going down over the harbor. By the way, service was extremely fast. We were in and out of there in 45 minutes. If I'm ever back on Long Island, I totally would go back to The Wharf.

Went last week for the first time for drinks and had shrimp tacos and it was great. We decided to go back today and the food was so bad.. baked clams was a goop of mush in a clam. Worst baked clams ever.. sliced steak sandwich was tough and cold. Picture 2 day old gray steak with hard mozzarella cheese on it.. even the fries were too burnt to eat.. service was slow and waitress was MIA.

Food was excellent, as was the service. The only issue was the full nightclub level music that was playing. I couldn’t speak to anyone at my table, I could barely think straight the music was so incredibly loud. It was only 9pm. Having never been there before, that may just be the vibe of the place. It is definitely a bar that serves food, but they could tone down the music in the dining areas while it is full of diners.
Came for dinner. The waiter Chris Biava took our order. He brought out the appetizer. Then two minutes later brought out our dinners we ordered while saying I’m sorry I told the cook not to send it out right away. The food got cold because we didn’t touch it so I returned it and said I didn’t want it. The waiter Chris then brought it back saying it was remade and he personally threw out the first dinners. Well this dinner was ice cold and obviously he lied bringing back the first dinner. So I said we don’t want this either and asked for the manager. He replied there is no manager working. After that just got the check and left. Spend your money somewhere else if your looking for a waterfront restaurant. Very poorly ran.
