Exceptional service at the bar! The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring our drinks were always topped up. They had the best rocket fuel I've ever had. The atmosphere was vibrant, with all the lights and they did their best to have quick service which made our night even more enjoyable. Can't wait to return for more fantastic experiences!

Kelly was awesome. We walked all of fire island and stopped here after the long walk. Kelly was friendly and upbeat and definitely made us feel welcome. Drinks were great and so was the music. Perfect place to stop to relax for a bit

First time coming to this bar and it's has such good vibes! Great music and the bartender Kelly is so friendly and nice! Greeted us right away, was patient and made us delicious drinks! Absolutely recommend coming here! Addendum: Kelly needs a raise! She's knows Gen X music and appreciates it! Us Gen Xer's appreciate the small things! And she makes great conversation! Just saying

RACIST BAR: My friends and I had an unfortunate encounter at CJ's during our first visit to Fire Island. Around 11:30pm, while enjoying some drinks, an incident occurred involving one of my friends who wears a turban. While waiting for the bathroom, a bald security guard inexplicably shone his light at him, which left us puzzled. The situation escalated when the security guard approached my friend, unaware that he was part of our group, and made offensive remarks about him. Saying " He's going to blow this place up. What is he doing" because he was wearing a turban. The guard's inappropriate behavior was uncalled for, and it's disheartening to experience such discrimination. Attached is a photo of the security guard in question. He tried shining the flashlight at us so we didnt take a picture of him. This incident goes against the "no discrimination" sign that greets visitors as they disembark from the ferry. It's a shame that CJ's displayed such racist and disrespectful behavior, leading us to reconsider supporting their business in the future. I will make sure this incident is shared on every social media platform.

Fun bar; friendly bartenders; good music; fun vibe. Had to try my first Rocket Fuel at CJ's -Home of the Rocket Fuel! It put me on top of the world - a 151 Pina Colada w/ amaretto float - so tasty, and surprisingly, not too sweet; just creamy and delicious. This won't be my last! They have happy hour daily, 3-6!pm- $6 beer; $7 wine and well. My husband enjoyed his sauv Blanc.
Came here for Sunday of the holiday weekend. Great atmosphere and awesome service. There were two bartenders, both super friendly. The guy bartender was dressed in an awesome 4th costume, and made us the BEST rocket fuels. I would come again just for him. He made our experience amazing and was not only friendly but very accommodating. Come here!!!

One of the rudest bartenders I’ve ever came across in my life. Screamed at us for not “ordering quickly enough.” The bartender was a guy, didn’t get the name but was the worse service I’ve ever gotten on fire island or anywhere else. Very disappointing because as a bartender myself I typically super understanding.

The service was terrible and the food was mediocre, at best. The table beside us, that had a different waitress, was seated after us but had their bread and salads before ours even came back to take our order. She didn't return during the meal and I had to go to the bar to get refills. At the end, we waited 25 minutes for change. She finally came back and said, sorry, I didn't realize I still had your change. The food was unseasoned and very bland. We were so disappointed because this was our first trip to Marco Island and everyone we talked to said "go to CJ's".
