Hands down best food in Oceanside! Always consistent, great prices, large portions, clean, and authentic. The owner is so nice and personable. If I order delivery late night I know it will still be fresh and the owner delivers it to me on his way home and refuses tip or gives it to his employees. Go there a few times and you will be treated like family.
The food here is amazing! The owner, Nestor, is almost always around — friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what he does. I recommend Gyro Bar to everyone I know! On top of that, Nestor is a talented artist, and all the artwork you see inside the restaurant is his own 😍 🇬🇷
Initially I was not happy with my food. The first thing I tasted was the falafel, which although were very tasty inside, they were fried so hard on the outside. The outer crust was just thick and hard. Like they were re-fried too many times. Falafel is what I usually use at all Mediterranean restaurants to measure the rating of the food.
