Little place on the water. Tight parking. Very attentive staff. Mediocre bar food. Pasta was undercooked and the chicken was minced. Decent prices on both the food and the drinks. Local joint that is doing their best to pay attention and compete with the larger bar/clubs/restaurants in the area. Worth the effort. Will return.
After Tropix, we decided to get something to eat. I told her about John the new chef at Jesse's. He is a great guy from Milan. We went, dinner was going to be simple. Mussels & wings. John doesn't make things simple. He made the mussels in an amazing wine sauce & the wings in his special sauce. He surprised us with a plate of his Risotto, that was to die for. If you are looking for great food at a very reasonable price, go to Jesse's. You will not be sorry....
WOW the band on June 19, the Second Street Band I believe, was FANTASTIC. The venue should've let them turn up the music louder though, and what was with the guest harmonica player from the bar? The band's harmonica player would've done a much better job on that song.
