Jessy's Pastries - Empanadas & Sweets

I’ve been ordering from this place for forever! I love their empanadas. I paid almost a whole dollar this tiny sauce?! I used to get the whole regular size kind. This is so disrespectful. Especially when ordering 6 empanadas. The sauce should be 25 cents if you’re giving me this much. What disrespect to your customers. I’m Latina too. I understand the pride you have bc it’s homemade but THIS LITTLE SIZE FOR ALMOST A DOLLAR AND I BUY 6 EMPANADAS. You guys lost your mind. Never again. I’d rather adjust to never ordering here again than adjust to this level of disrespect.

Cozy Peruvian bakery and coffee shop. Everything is fresh and the flavors are amazing. The empanada pastry is light and fluffy, but hard and overly crispy line other places. The selection is wide and they gave GF and Vegan options. Definitely worth a peek when you're in the neighborhood. I had the apple and Buffalo chicken. The Buffalo chicken is REALLY good, wish I bought more when I was driving away!

I have been ordering from here at least once a week since the start of the summer and it has been good for most part but whoever works on Friday during lunch time does not care about the quality of the food. I got 3 empanadas of chicken and cheese and it was so dry and burnt I could not eat it!

We were first introduced to these empanadas at the Westhampton Farmer's Market last weekend. My sons and I decided to take a drive to their Oceanside location today to check out the full menu of options. The empanadas are fresh and delicious. We tried so many: beef, beef and cheddar, Mac and cheese, bbq jackfruit, and Buffalo chicken. We also order plantains. It was all so fantastic, we placed another order to bring home. We also tried the Nutella and apple empanadas for dessert, and we highly recommend those too.

We are a small family coffee house in Oregon, and we just had our Grand Opening. Jessy's empanadas flew out the door! Everyone loved them. We will be continuing to order from Jessy, who has great, instantaneous service. I wish her every success!

I was in the area visiting a friend & she recommended this empanada place. I had no clue it even existed and I have passed it a bunch of times! This is one of the best empanada places I have ever been to!
The food was absolutely delicious, they have a huge variety of empanadas to choose from, & the staff are awesome. Quick service, you can order online or in store, and the wait times aren’t steep.
I ate 6 empanadas- Beef and cheddar, Buffalo chicken, 2 Mac n cheese, queso and plantain, and BBQ chicken.
All of them were fantastic !!!
I would love to see a Philly cheese steak empanada from them. I have had them in other places but I think this place would definitely make it best.

By far my favorite place to get empanadas! They’re handmade and even though I’m not actually vegan, 2 of my top 3 choices are. Soy Chorizo and Beef and Cheddar regularly compete for my #1 spot. Beyond that, if I could keep these stocked in my freezer ready to go, I’d literally eat them everyday. They’re available at a ton of farmers markets and this place exemplifies what it is to be a mom and pop shop!

I’ve bought food here a couple of times. I sometimes use a Visa gift card for my purchase and never had an issue. Well this time around it was such a horrible experience. The cashier couldn’t get my gift card to work and asked a woman in the back for help. All they had to do was swipe it on the machine at the register as the card didn’t have a chip. The woman came to the cashier and whispered something in his ear. The cashier then said “ oh no we can’t accept that payment here” “ You know sometimes people do fraud with this card”. That may be the case but definitely not my case. The woman then proceeded to show me paperwork stating they can’t accept gift cards. I know this not to be true since I’ve purchased plenty of times with this form of payment. I felt very uncomfortable as there were other patrons in the store. I then asked to speak to a manager or how to get in contact with the owner. The woman was very rude and stated she can’t give that information. The food is good however I recommend the staff try to help a customer instead of implying they are trying to commit fraud with a common form of payment. I will be reaching out to the owner to make them aware
