This site is my first choice place. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to that place. when I feel like having a special lunchon, this is the place that comes first to my head. fresh and diverse food and a rich menu.great staff members, and pleasant vibes. Also important, the expence is affordable. I tell about this restaurant with no hesitation.

This place is clearly one of the most attractive place to eat in the area. Always when I come to this place I am truly satisfied. They hold their very high level service and the topmost level of meals they provide. You will be always satisfied with this place. Highly recommended.

Wow!!! They changed owners, service horrible but that's only because there was 1 waitress for the whole room. Outside bar no set up at all. Food was at best ok. Band was the best part of the night!!!

Band playing was great. Everything else needed lits if work.

Poor service. Menu items missing. Clams on half shell show 8 on the menu and they give you 6. Blackened scallops? 4 of them. Really? This place is a bar pretending to be a restaurant. Eat somewhere else and then come have a drink and listen to the band. Atmosphere is atrocious too, they need a makeover.

What used to be a very tired looking Michael's Porthole is now Jessie's On The Water, owned by Craig "Ozzie" Gelston, and named for his grandmother, Jessica. From what I know, not much has changed decor- and/or interior-wise, there is still an attached cavernous party/special events room (including such activities as Pain Nite) but I can say that the service was warm, friendly, and our server made us feel like we were regulars from way back. Portions were quite large (our Chicken Marsala was out of this world!), prices were very reasonable, our glass of Merlot was more than sufficiently filled and warming on a cold, December night and we look forward to the warmer weather when we can dine out on the deck overlooking a portion of the Mill River.

Jessie's On The Water, only 3 months old, has taken over the space that used to be Michael's Porthole, which had definitely seen better days by the time this new owner, Craig "Ozzy" Gelston took over. On a cold December night, here were the perfect dinner and drinks that we needed to warm up, with our very friendly server, who made us feel like regulars, helping to make this a deeply satisfying meal. Set up like the original Porthole, there is a main dining room with full bar, a good sized outdoor patio overlooking an arm of the Mill River, and a very large dining annex where busy weekends and special events, such as Paint Nite are held. Jessie's is named for Ozzy's grandmother, and I think she would be proud of what her grandson has created: warmth, a good meal, and a welcoming atmosphere.

This place has the best meatball marinara you could eat.....and there huge. Topped with sauce that is blended just right.

My first time at this Bar Restaurant a friend and I were out fishing all day near Rockaway. This place I was told is now under new management.I had the roasted Octopus and it was quiet good. P. S. much better then the fishing out there today.
