Ralph’s Italian Ices-E. Oside-Merrick Road(Across from J Paul’s)

This place has quickly become my go-to spot for a sweet treat, and it never disappoints. My absolute favorites are the Peanut Butter Crunch Sundae and the Cake Shake with extra sprinkles!

What really sets Ralph's apart is the amazing service. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. The store is always spotless too, which gives off such a nice, inviting vibe. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick treat or just enjoying the atmosphere, I always leave with a smile on my face.

One of the cleanest Ralph’s I’ve ever been to! Every time I stop by, the store smells so fresh and inviting. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and I’ve even had the pleasure of meeting the owners a few times — they’re wonderful! My go-to order is a tropical blend smoothie, and lately I’ve been adding the new pomegranate Dole Whip (SO good!). I just wish they were open year-round, but I love supporting a locally owned business when they are in season. Highly recommend!

Ralph’s East Oceanside has a great variety of product to choose from and has high standards of protocol to ensure the store is running well and to all health compliance and up to par with customer satisfaction. All staff are trained and provided with policies from the beginning and this is continuous throughout their time hired - open communication is set from day 1. This store is run by fabulous owners and some staff stay working for YEARS, as it is a great environment, with delicious product, and plenty of flexibility and opportunity to work and grow.

Don't get me wrong the ice cream and such is good here at ralphs on Merrick rd in Oceanside. BUTTTT The boss seems to care more about the job than the actual people working there.. don't hire students if its an issue. The girls who work here can come off a bit snotty but its whatever, I also heard the blenders are only cleaned with water? Which doesn't seem to be sanitary.

Every once in awhile we get the urge to have something cool and refreshing. This is the place to go. They have a large variety to choose from and everything I have tried has tasted great.

The staff is always helpful & patient (especially when I struggle with my flavor selections). My family and I look forward to their opening and every year.

Honestly, this place is a joke. The boss is rude, unprofessional, and doesn’t give new workers any real chance to learn or succeed, it’s like she’s waiting for you to mess up the first chance they get. The girls working there aren’t any better. Most of them lack basic customer service skills and walk around with an attitude or stank faces like they don’t want to be there. The flavors are good but i feel like the workers and maybe even boss could be better. For clarification for those who may be confused, I in fact am talking about the Ralph’s in oceanside near the nassau hospital🤗

Many choices for hand scooped ice cream. I wish they had more flavors for soft serve ice cream.

I just went here and brought my tiny senior dog. I ordered two quarts and asked for a pup cup. The employee informed me it was $5 for a small and $6 for a large. I asked for clarification that it was just a tiny cup with a little whipped cream, and the employee confirmed the prices. This feels terribly exploitative. I’ll head back to the Ralph’s I normally go to that charges only $2. Other dog owners, heads up!
