The Sand is a cute spot with decent food, ideal for a quick bite. However, the pricing feels steep for the basic menu offered, especially considering you can find better quality for similar prices elsewhere. Additionally, the staff’s attitude could use improvement, as they often seem disengaged and unfriendly.

Food is delicious however a few things can be fixed. Your counter person was eating fries and then took our order. She then took muffins out of case, made smoothies for another person and packed the bags. All this was done without gloves using the same unwashed hands she just stood there eating the fries. Staff eating food should be out of sight or on a break period. But if working and eating at least follow department of health guidelines to wash your hands or wear gloves....
