We came here a few years ago and the staff and other patrons were all so nice n friendly. There was some US football on the TV and the locals invited us to share their pot luck dinner! And the beer was local brewed and fresh.I’m glad that The Place made it through the epidemic and we will come again soon. Love ya! Don & Estelle from Ottawa.

We were visiting family in town and needed a late dinner and we were not disappointed. The bourbon bleu steak was cooked perfectly and the tots were nice and crispy. I ordered the Buffalo chicken Alfredo and the mix of hot sauce and Alfredo in the chicken was a pleasant surprise. Our server was fast and pleasant as well, highly recommended.
Food just ok. Service very slow. Outside patio was unusable due to bees and really bad smell. Local bar vibe

While in town my lady and I stopped in for lunch. Super friendly bartenders, snarky, the way they should be. Holiday atmosphere with decorations, music and specialty drinks were awesome. I’m not here for that though. I’m here to rate the men’s bathroom sink. This was a 10/10. Even though the wash closet was small the sink was perfect. It had a nice spout that didn’t splash any water onto the sink or me. Fine dining establishments take note. Nobody likes the sink area all wet and messy where one could get water on themselves. Hats of to The Place.
