Were in a rush and the place we wanted to go to in Wilson was closed. I ordered clam strips and there were a few but then there was something that was about six inches long 3/8" square and looked to be some kind of meat but tough as shoe leather. When I showed all of them server and she said oh it is a french fry, until I handed it too her and she tried to pull it apart and went oh that is not a fry. Then she apologized as there regular cook was out due to a motorcycle accident and the two assistants were trying to step up. My wife's roast beef was OK but obviously we will not go back!

1st Time here and love it. The Owner Fred was friendly and super helpful with Fishing Tips for Pier Fishing... The French Onion Sangwich, which comes with a Basket of Fries, and the Calamari appetizer is definitely enough for 2 people!!! The Sangwich is was definitely a great recommendation from the staff. Definitely coming back

Highly recommend, had the French Onion Sandwich with chili cheese fries both of which were delicious and a good size. Server was sweet and helpful.

If i could give this place a negative number i would. The service completely sucked worst i seen in probably any restaurant or bar, sat over an hour and actually seen people getting turned away from service, the bartender put on a nice show in front of families refusing to help, the food sucked and i will never ever go back there again..

Don't waste your time. We have come several times within posted hours of operation and they are closed or closing. I called today at 8:09 pm to confirm the kitchen was open, we arrived at 8:57pm and they said the kitchen was closed and all 3 off the staff denied speaking to me. I called the number while still sitting at the bar to confirm that I had the right number. Go down the street to Covey's Cove. Superior service.

Horrible. Food times were almost 2 hours when no one else was ordering food. The wait staff was trying their best, while the owner got drunk in the corner. Never will return.

Food is awful. The cook should be fired. Food came on chipped, dirty plates. Fries are terrible and my beef on weck tasted freezer burnt and flavorless.
We were doing an afternoon of wine tasting and came upon The Captain's Gallery. Our lunch was really good, the service was great! Very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Cute restaurant right by the lake! I tried their specialty which was a cross between a French dip sandwich and French onion soup. Outdoor seating is also available.If you are looking for a reasonably priced diner near the lake you got it in the Captain's Galley!

Awesome little hole in the wall bar/tavern/pub. Bathrooms are clean but small. Food options are vast and quick. The decorations on the walls are playful and historical. We ordered the chicken basket, shrimp basket, chicken quesadilla, nachos with chicken, and pizza logs. The fried foods are delicious. Military discount is available. The hot sauce was delicious and spicy witht he chicken. The shrimp was ok. The pizza rolls were dissapointing, too hard of shells. The quesadilla was good. The nachos were tasty and crunchy.

The chicken in the salads was undercooked and the veggies were wilted and not fresh. $50 for two mediocre salads and nasty fried pickles is a COMPLETE rip off. Flies on everything and the tables and chairs were so sticky. I do not recommend this place ti anyone. 50 bucks down the drain. Dont waste your time. Too expensive for nasty cold food.
