A bit tight inside but we dined at prime Sunday brunch time. Super friendly service and great diner food. The menu is limited but the locally sourced ingredients make for excellent diner fare (5 star rating is for typical breakfast food). Not greasy at all; the park across the street makes for an excellent post-breakie walk experience. Spectacular views of Lake Ontario and Toronto.

This is a sweet little rural spot for breakfast or lunch. We were out cycling on a beautiful fall day and stopped for a bite here. The chili was housemade and delicious. Ask for the housemade hot sauce. It is the perfect compliment to adjust the heat to your liking. Raw onions and cheese with crackers topped this off perfectly. Note the remarkable original paintings on the walls and ask the owner about his bikes.
They close at 2:00 PM. Next time I will be ordering the fresh peach waffles.

Excellent food! Friendly staff! Wonderful family atmosphere!
If it’s busy expect a wait time, if you had 20 people showing up at your house ordering food, they would have a wait time as well. Spend the time visiting and getting to know your neighbors. :)
Whatever you choose to eat you can’t go wrong! Homemade soups daily! Battered onion rings ( Yumm) Blueberry waffles!
You’re not a customer, you’re family!

Homemade chili, soups and hand cut curly fries! The owner also makes his own hot sauce which is delicious. We've been going just about every weekend to enjoy lunch with the family. Great place for breakfast and lunch with that little hometown feel.
We visited this diner just yesterday…the service was amazing! First of all, it’s rare to find a young college-aged woman who works hard AND loves her job—phenomenal service! And second, we met the owner who came out and chatted with us and let us try some of his famous soup! It was DELICIOUS! You won’t be disappointed, the food is absolutely amazing and the people who all work there are super friendly!

Yum! I had the sausage burrito he had 2 pancakes and hash browns both came with a lil slice of watermelon. Excellent food cooked to order and super fresh. Cheese melted in the burrito excellent. The hash browns had added peppers as my other half doesn’t eat onions and they left the onions out. Everything was excellent prices were great and we will be back again! Thank you
