Front Door Diner Reviews
We rolled into Old Forge with big weekend energy…
Mother Nature said, “Absolutely not.”
Plans? Cancelled.
Weather? Rude.
Morale? Questionable.

Ordered a Philly steak sub that had almost no meat on it. They masked it with mushrooms and cheese to make it look good. Cost me 16$. Complete ripoff. Waitress didn’t even care when I voiced my concerns. Will never go back and I’m a local. Again I got ripped off.
Traveled all day..
Kelsie was so perfect!
She recommended the pizza and wings!
Plus she went above and beyond..
Will be back for sure!!

The Front Door Diner offers a pleasant dining experience with a wide selection of menu options at reasonable prices. The attentive servers provide excellent service, and the food is consistently well-prepared. Guests can enjoy a variety of dishes, including grilled burgers with crispy potatoes, deliciously cooked chicken tenders, and nicely seasoned fries. With nice-sized portions and a welcoming staff, Front Door Diner is a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or any time in between.
The diner's atmosphere is friendly and well-maintained. Customers praise the friendly service and delicious food, with one reviewer describing it as a "cozy spot" perfect for breakfast. One guest noted that the staff was friendly and great with kids, although they mentioned the kids menu lacks drawing materials. Another customer, who has visited multiple times, shared a memorable experience with their server, Shelly, who made them feel at home and even surprised a friend with pickles, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The Front Door Diner has also accommodated large groups, such as a university outdoor club, with one reviewer thanking the owner, Tom, for a great lunch. While many enjoy the diner, one customer expressed disappointment over the display of a rainbow flag, indicating it affected their willingness to return. Despite this, the overall sentiment remains positive, highlighting the friendly service and inviting environment.
