Very cozy restaurant that's tucked away in North Olean. We got lucky and had live music as we walked in and we also beat the rush. Menu prices are comparable to the others in town but a lot more tasty meal selections. Drinks and meals were perfect. Food was served sporadically, but it was well worth the wait. I will definitely return.

We've eaten there multiple times and every meal has been outstanding. Service is excellent - food is excellent - atmosphere is wonderful. We have to drive an hour to get to this restaurant, and the cost is not inexpensive, but in both instances, it's worth it! Recommend mixed grill and butter chicken, together with garlic naan and tzatziki.
Parking: Never have had a problem finding parking.

i’ve never written a review on a restaurant before but i felt i had to here. their website misled me into believing the mixed grill was $20 and the naan was $2. they didn’t give me a total when i arrived to pick up and i was happy with the food until i looked at my reciept and i was charged $46!!!! 75 percent of what was in the take out box was rice there were 2 shrimp and 4 pieces of chicken. to make matters worse the chicken was overcooked and dry. they didn’t allow me to substitute what i wanted and i was okay with that thinking it was 20 bucks. i called immediately and they weren’t willing to make it right or even offer an apology for the miscommunication. person on the phone was rude and im extremely dissatisfied i would not recommend this place especially not for takeout. go to rafis instead.

This is the best place to eat in Olean, hands down. I've gotten several meals here including Biryani, kabob, and the mix grill and it's all been incredible.

We’ve been here a few times and haven’t been overly impressed with the food. I got chicken piccata one time and the chicken was very fatty and stringy. Another time I got the coconut grouper which was great, but the veggies appeared to be a mixed bag of frozen vegetables; very underwhelming. We went for lunch today and got the chicken souvlaki wrap, it was great! The biggest downfall was that there was only one waitress working who was hustling her butt off! We walked in about 4 minutes past noon and she already had a huge table of about 14 people. All of the other tables were dirty; they hadn’t been wiped down and had dirty glasses on them. Since they open right at noon, we’re assuming the tables hadn’t been cleaned off from the previous night. Our waitress was very kind and attentive as she could be as she was the only waitress taking care of close to 20 customers, and was also the bar tender, table busser and the food runner. My complaint isn’t about the service, as that is not the waitress’ fault; there’s clearly a management problem. The tables should’ve been cleaned off by the staff who worked the night previously and there should’ve been more than 1 waitress on to cover the entire restaurant right at lunch time.

The food is excellent, very authentic Pakistani/Indian cuisine. The Tandoori Tawa Fish, a grouper, is incredible. Only problem is the setting. Odd location in a middle class residential neighborhood, out of a converted house. Still, ambience is decent. Support local business!
My husband and I have been dining at Mirchi for several years. We find the Indian food to be consistent in portions and especially taste! Chef Noshi will prepare your dinner to the spice/ heat level you request! Here are our favorites: The Mixed Grill, White Chicken Korma, Chicken Curry, the Kabob plate and the fish fry grouper. We love the Naan bread from the tandoori oven with tzatziki. Appetizer favorites are: Shrimp pakora and samosa’s. Favorite dessert! The Lemon Cello cake! Music on Friday evening is great!
