Very friendly.

We ordered takeout to celebrate our anniversary because I'm a recent amputee and we're not over pleased with the taste of the sauce in our meals.
It was like it was made of tomato paste maybe with a slight basil spice that normally comes in crushed tomatoes. It could been a great meal if it wasn't so tasteless.

I had lasagna with meatballs and my wife eggplant parmigiana, same review, the sauce didn't have any spice. Also they were very generous with the mozzarella cheese.

The meatballs were delicious and the homemade salad dressing in our salads was very good.

Friend picked up one of their jumbo pizzas to share with party. Just a plain cheese. Had very little sauce or cheese and could use some basic seasonings. Felt like we got the amount of sauce and cheese meant for a smaller pie.

Sub parr, a lot better places to eat around town…

What a cute, cozy Italian spot on Main Street. I cannot enough good things about this family style Tuscan feel osteria! From the moment I walked in, the staff felt like family and one employee in particular Sara is amazing! If you can get a table with her that's your girl! Its hard to find a place that gets the food and service 1000% correct.

At its best the food was extremely mediocre. Chicken Parm was so tough I could've used it to resole a pair of shoes, tomato sauce was like water with chunks of tomatoes. A piece of paper would've had more flavor. My recommendation - stay away and save your money! Go to Pizza Hut and you'll have more value for your money. Not a fan of Pizza Hut either but at least it tastes a whole lot better than this place! Will not be going back.

I really wanted to like this place as I have heard some good reviews. Our server was unfriendly and did not want to be there. Our tablecloth was covered in grease stains. It was 8 dollars for 4 small mozzarella sticks of fair food quality. The garlic bread was hard and tasted freezer burnt. I ordered Linguine with Vodka sauce and I could only take two bites - the pasta was so slimy and overcooked and the sauce had very little flavor. I’m not a picky eater and can usually eat something even if it isn’t great - but I simply could not eat this. 17 dollars for the worst pasta of my life. The cesar salad was pretty good.

Today I brought my mother and two children to have lunch. We were asked to go into the dining area to be seated and then the waitress asked us to wait in the waiting area because she was the only waitress. We decided we’d just take it to go. As we waited for our food the two tables in the waiting area cleared. When our pizza slices came out we asked if it was ok to sit on the tables that cleared. The tables were not part of the main dining area but, apparently asking to sit there, to try and save the restaurant time and money by avoiding building , packing and boxing the slices was a problem. The man slammed his hands down on the carton and pushed away stuff on the counter where he was working, and in a not very nice tone said “so are you in or are you out?”. 😟 I feel ashamed my kids had to see that. We know where we are not welcomed.

I literally have no idea how this place is still in business food was absolutely horrific. The price point is New York City and the sauce is Walmart. They don't care about your feedback. They don't care if you have any issues and they certainly don't care about the quality of service or food. Highly advised people to stop going here and or avoid it at all costs.

There is no place like Oneonta and with that comes Italian restaurant quirks that people who didn’t grow up here either find charming (similar to those who love the Christmas Tree shoppe…I don’t so the decor is a bit overwhelming for me honestly) or annoying and subpar. I grew up here and love visits home to enjoy a good meal at a local family run eatery. I’m not walking in expecting il Mulino or Carbone’s. But the food is solid (ample, delicious portions) and service can be very delightful if they aren’t short staffed or friendly with a side of I don’t have time to chit chat if they are. The people who run and work in these places work hard and know their regulars (are probably related) and wouldn’t think of serving anything subpar. All that said, my pizza today was awesome, as was my mom’s chicken Marsala, and honestly it’s my favourite Caesar salad anywhere! Plus we had left overs to take home and prices are no where near what I pay in the city for more attitude and smaller portions. People around us appeared to be having a good time. Our server was so sweet. Can’t wait to come back!!

I had the chicken marmalade. It was served over mushroom ravioli. It was really good and comes with a salad. As an appetizer we had the brunette. Very good!
