It's been consistent, popular, and a great way to try new foods. A view of the city on a nice sunny day, good service, and a unique menu to suit many tastes. They are celebrating their 13th year on August 12th this year, and deserve a visit if you haven't tried them yet.”

“WOW. This was our first time here, we saw online that they make homemade ice cream and couldn't resist. We make it a point to try as many handmade ice creams as we can around New York and the surrounding states. Polar bear is one of the best we've had! We love that they have so many different rotating flavours. Their ice cream was creamy and dense in the best way, and the mix one were delicious. We especially loved the brownie pieces that were in the caramel brownie ice cream we had. They were sooo chewy and chocolatey. The soft serve was great on a homemade waffle cone too.
We also tried their loaded fries, hand cut and crispy with tons of cheese and bacon on them. We couldn't finish them between us and are looking forward to eating the rest of them for dinner tonight. We had a corn dog and it was the BEST we've ever had. Thin, crispy batter surrounding a juicy and flavourful hot dog.
The lovely owner was in while we were there, and she was absolutely wonderful. So friendly and told us about Polar Bear and was ready to answer any questions we had as first timers. We live around an hour away and will absolutely be making the trip back out to try more food and ice cream. You can feel the love here, it's something special.”

“Stopped by Soda Jerks and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a unique spot, a diner attached to a body shop. The homemade sodas were excellent and something you don’t come across often, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s easy to drive right past if you don’t know it’s there, but once you spot the Action Lube sign, you’ve found it. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area and looking for something a little different.”

Although there are quick options, it is primarily a sit-down, table service restaurant, and it strikes the perfect balance between a casual cafe and a more formal affair. During the winter, you'll see people hanging out with laptops; it's a great place to work with solid Wi-Fi. Speed test: 782 Mbps down, 35 Mbps up. This is the kind of restaurant where anything you order is going to taste amazing. The more exotic it sounds, the better it will be. The usual fare is also great, so it's a safe place to take a group that has a mix of adventurous and picky eaters.”

Daily items are often better than some of the other options on the menu, choosing the cafe/coffee shop "staple" foods is recommended. It is often busy, so there may be a wait. Plenty of good drinks, though some have more flavoring than coffee at times.”

“I ate at this location and i have to say the food is very delicious and it’s right in SUNY Oneonta campus! Today i ate the chicken quesadilla with cheese and chicken and i ate all of it because i was extra hungry today because they made me wait for the Mac and cheese because the “My Kitchen” is closed between 3-5 for little to no reason. I like to eat chicken and cheese flavored quesadillas allot because they taste very excellent most of the time. As you can tell i cleaned my plate after I ate all my food because i had to and it was very delicious. Very good!”

Went there on Sunday because my nephew wanted to try it for the first time. And I have to say, even though there was only 2 people working and it was busy, the staff (Shout-out amber) was extremely pleasant and friendly.

“We are up for parents weekend and went to the Red Jug to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. I grabbed a seat at the bar (a rarity after 9 pm since they were taking all the bar stools away). As I sat there I witnessed the bartenders Water down ALL the mixed drinks.”

“Nice, welcoming layout along with staff! The food was great! The salmon was cooked to perfection, the Fajita Pita (substituted the chicken with the steak) was yummy…along with eggplant fries (huge WOW) and a classic burger which was dependably very good. Oh…you’ve got to try the pumpkin lava cake and lemon drop! Great menu. Can’t go wrong here. Highly recommend.”

“The morning Crew is awesome. Very friendly and actual check the drink cups. The night crew. Trying to clean up 30 /40 minutes before closing and not being very friendly isn’t very inviting. Two nights in a row just ordering a coffee I shouldn’t feel like I’m such a bother. You two girls can do better. Morning crew 5 star!”

“Worse ribs ever. I had my heart set on this place after reading all the wonderful reviews. What am I missing?! Ribs were dry, meat did not fall off the bone, and sauce had an unpleasant taste. Coleslaw was definitely canned and fries were lukewarm at best. Extremely disappointing. They also need to update their website, masks were not required.”
