“I love the food and decor. I don't mind their affiliation with Twelve Tribes. I am secure in my own religious beliefs so if anyone wants to talk about religion, I enjoy it if there is time. I have been in here a lot and never felt they are pushy about their ideology, they leave you alone if you are not interested.“
“Popped in for the 1st time after a movie and capped off the night with a great experience. Service was excellent and the food was as well. Due to the awards, we started with the wings and understand why they have some recognition. Went with the French Dip and The Crossing Burger. Both were fabulous. Aus jus was flavorful. “So, I went with my fiancé, we were visiting town and wanted to have coffee. Lattes to be more specific. So we found this "café" we didn't see lattes in the menu so I asked the waitress "do you serve lattes?" and to my surprise she said "no". Lol I know I must have had a dumbfounded look on my face. Anyhow we decided to order the fried plantains, it's an appetizer dish and a couple draft beers. The plantains were delicious. A must try if you come here. I can't really rate the food besides that cause all we tried were the fried plantains. I gave it 4 stars because personally I think cafes should have lattes and more coffee drinks, idk, just my opinion. Service was great the host and the waitress were very pleasant and the place looks nice.“

“Consistently great! This is our third visit to an Appleby’s since we arrived in the US, and this is the third time it’s been great!The service is so good. Our server Keisha (I hope I got that right), was so good, fast efficient, friendly. She took the time to chat with us, we had some friendly banter and had an enjoyable time, she made the difference between a good and great experience.Regarding the food, between the three of us we had appetisers of onion rings, loaded waffle fries, and boneless wings with an Asian sauce, all of these were great, although the wings were a highlight.For entrees we had the bourbon grilled chicken, so moist and tender. The 8oz sirloin steak medium rare, perfect sear, perfect temperature, absolutely nailed it! And finally the penne pasta with chicken tenders with a honey sauce, also excellent. It was a lot of food that we couldn’t quite finish.Our entire meal was a very reasonable $86USThe high quality and consistency we’ve experienced has made Appleby’s our go to when we don’t know where to go. “Dined there with a party of 6. We all agreed that the appetizers and entrees we ordered were imaginative, properly cooked, tasty, and attractively presented. I ordered the Asian Steak which was delicious! We had an early meal and it was blessedly QUIET (note to all restauranteurs: invest in good acoustics). The wait staff was charming and attentive. I found the prices to be spot on given the quality of the food and the excellent service. Hill City can easily compete with big city eaterys.“
