“Visited a couple years ago and forgot to leave me review. All I can say is I am looking forward to returning and enjoying the amazing prime rib and lobster. If you are in the area do your self a favor stop in and say hello to this family run restaurant, you will not be disappointed!“
“Friends have spoken of this eatery for years. We finally were able to stop in and enjoy some food. Delicious perfectly crispy fries served alongside super crisp pickle wedge and a delicious panini-style Reuben (pastrami) on ciabatta with dressing on the side. Excellent! Husband had roast beef panini style also on ciabatta. Also excellent.Friendly staff, clean and bright. Recommend highly.“
“One of the nicest eateries in this area. I've been here about 10 times in the past 5 years, but the food has gotten noticeably better in the past half year. In warm weather there is a really nice outdoor deck. The service is good and pleasant and so is the atmosphere. Parking is limited but I've never had a problem. It's in a hotel, so the guests there must have alternate parking arrangements. The prices are above average for this area, but not exorbitant.“
“Cutest eatery in Livingston Manor. Small quaint cafe. A lot of locals what was nice about it was everyone was involved in the conversation. It seemed like a room full of old friends talking laughing and sharing stories. It was very welcoming. I felt right at home. The waitress was efficient kind warm welcoming and very professional. Our food was ready in a short time. We could tell the food was fresh and made to order not pre cooked and heated when needed. The options were endless and every plate was cooked to perfection. The portions were perfect and matches the price. I would recommend this cafe to anyone as my first choice. We will be going back.Vegetarian options: Numerous salad options. Fruit bowls. Avocados added to any sandwiches to give it a nice kick delicious vegetable wraps, soups and salads.Dietary restrictions: Every plate is made to order so if you choose to have something that's sugar free or can't contain a certain food it's not a problem because it's made fresh with exactly what you want or don't want in it.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces on the main street with a back parking lot as well. Walking distance from almost anywhere downtown you may not even need to bring the car!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for the little ones. Height chair available. Also a kids menu.“
“We stayed in the farmhouse at the Arnold House for a family get away. We enjoyed the tavern and the breakfast buffet. I think that guests should be aware that the bathrooms are unfinished. The toilet paper is one ply because the toilets need to be handled with care. Also there was standing water in the basement and the mousetraps in the house gave an uneasy feeling. It's an old house which could be charming with a few changes.Nearby activities: YesFood & drinks: Yes“
“Went to The Cabin on a blustery winter evening and it was so fun. We had such a great time and it reminded me of the old days when old man winter was always present. What a cozy wonderful place. Food was great, service perfect. Woodstove so cozy.“
“Nice little diner. My wife and I are diner people and this place did not disappoint. One of the best hamburgers I have had in a while. Wife’s Rueben sandwich was excellent. Waitress was very nice and talked with us for an awhile about the history of the diner after our meal. I would definitely “
“I got in and I was greeted, I responded and asked for a coffee in the same breath. I was offered a free one brewed just for me. It does not happen often these days. The bar has a strong local vibe apparently revolving around hunting. Someday I must come back to have a beer here.“
