Roscoe Diner Reviews
Good diner for a quick bite to eat. Right on the highway. We we a group of 5 and we had breakfast here. Everyone was happy with their food and the waitress was beer nice and pleasant. Keep in mind, portions are big.
A must stop when driving through upstate . French toast is spectacular
Love the old diners, this is great example. Haven’t been here in years. Portion size much more reasonable for a senior. Pastrami was lean upstate variety, I seem to remember a more juicy and tender sandwich. Cole slaw was off, eithrr stale or spoiled. Professional server took it off my check. Good coffee.

Roscoe Diner is a family-friendly restaurant known for its large menu and huge portions. It has a cool vintage feel and is well-maintained, making it a great stop along Rt 17 in the quaint village of Roscoe. The staff provides good service, and servers offer engaging conversation. The food is fantastic, featuring classic American cuisine with an emphasis on generous portions and familiar flavors at decent prices. Customers can enjoy light dinners or indulge in amazing breakfast options, including the popular tuna on rye and egg cream. The diner also offers convenient parking, including Tesla chargers, and a wheelchair ramp, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all. Although some customers have noted that the place needs updating, mentioning that the cushioned seats are uncomfortable and torn, Roscoe Diner remains a good place to eat. While the service is excellent and the food is recommended, there have been concerns about the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Whether dining in or getting takeout, Roscoe Diner is highly recommended for anyone in the area.
