“My wife and I were looking for a quick stop for a beer after a day on the lake. Found this place and the friendly greeting sold us right away. Handshakes and introduction from Tom and Jerry who we’re working behind the bar. We have never experienced before. We ended up sharing an appetizer from their specials and it was delicious. We will definitely be back. Definitely worth a trip for all.“

“My husband and I have been here at least a half dozen times and we enjoy the food and the service...the waitress refers to herself as "Salty Maryanne"...is she a little salty? Sure but that doesn't bother us...she and my husband are both from Brooklyn so they talk about the old neighborhood. Bottom line is anyone can have an off day...you have no idea what other people are dealing with and they have to come to work and do the best they can do. As a former waitress, I guess I'm just a little more sympathetic than most. I certainly wouldn't trash a restaurant after one experience there but that's just me.“

“I must say that we were very pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. Our waiter had that old school style to him. Not some unhappy, underdressed person, but he had class and good service.

As for the food. The burger and fries were really good, but the gems of the meal were the tea, yes the tea, and the pastrami reuben. That sandwich was one of the best I have ever had.

Will definitely go back on my next trip.“
