Our family stayed at the Kartrite Resort and found this absolute treasure of a restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in such a warm, wonderful family atmosphere. The heart of this place is truly the family running it. It was so special to see the father working side-by-side with his sons—some warmly taking orders at the front with big smiles, and others diligently preparing food in the kitchen. You can feel the pride and love they put into their business.

And the food? ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Every single one of us, from the adults to the kids, cleaned our plates. The kids are still raving about the fries (some of the best we've ever had!) and their meals. The menu is incredible, with unlimited choices to satisfy any craving. Whether you want a hearty comfort meal, a fresh salad, or something delicious for the little ones, they have it all.

If you're visiting the area or staying at Kartrite, this is a must-visit. Delicious, generous food served by the kindest, hardest-working family. We left with full bellies and full hearts. We can't wait to come back on our next trip! Thank you for an exceptional dining experience.“

“Ok, so since i last visited, the price went up 4x. Parking was almost full, and people were still coming in. It was my first time launching my own boat, on a very busy day.On the launch, my friend was guiding me, but when the time came to pull the boat out, i struggled a little. The owner came out and helped me by guiding my steering. No one got upset, and we managed to be quick about it without unnecessary stress.I can recommend that if you are there on a busy weekend, use the marina, pay the fee, and remove stress from your life.“

“I stumbled upon Miss Monticello’s on a trip upstate from NYC. It’s just a classic good ole diner with plenty of options, I personally got the patty melt and it was really good. The service is great and my server was so kind and attentive. I also ordered a piece of the peanut butter chocolate pie thing and it was delicious. “Came in for a quick lunch, the restaurant is pretty large so we were seated very quickly without a reservation. The waitress was very nice and personable, we opted for the BLT and the mushroom burger along with the French onion soup, honestly everything was really good. It was a nice quick lunch before we enjoyed the casino.“

“My husband and I have been here at least a half dozen times and we enjoy the food and the service...the waitress refers to herself as "Salty Maryanne"...is she a little salty? Sure but that doesn't bother us...she and my husband are both from Brooklyn so they talk about the old neighborhood. Bottom line is anyone can have an off day...you have no idea what other people are dealing with and they have to come to work and do the best they can do. As a former waitress, I guess I'm just a little more sympathetic than most. I certainly wouldn't trash a restaurant after one experience there but that's just me.“
