This little gem has great food, and large portions, at a very reasonable price. The lady who waited on us was very friendly and kind. Happy to see a locally-owned business thriving on Broadway in Monticello....Parking: Usually free parking on the street in front of the restaurant.
The food was amazing and delicious! We had fried chicken, cottage fries, collard greens, fish, grits and empanadas. The service was friendly and inviting. We would absolutely come again.

I wish i had remembered to take pictures before eating,but here they are. We are not from the area but saw the Google reviews, and we all were satisfied. The fish was not greasy, and the batter was delicious. The mac n cheese, green beans, and greens were tasty. My daughter enjoyed her Buffalo fried wings. My husband also enjoyed his fried shrimp. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend it.
