I wish i had remembered to take pictures before eating,but here they are. We are not from the area but saw the Google reviews, and we all were satisfied. The fish was not greasy, and the batter was delicious. The mac n cheese, green beans, and greens were tasty. My daughter enjoyed her Buffalo fried wings. My husband also enjoyed his fried shrimp. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend it.

This little gem has great food, and large portions, at a very reasonable price. The lady who waited on us was very friendly and kind. Happy to see a locally-owned business thriving on Broadway in Monticello....Parking: Usually free parking on the street in front of the restaurant.

This place is a gem! We were in the area for other purposes, and were looking for some good food. I found this place via Yelp and we decided to try it for lunch. Upon walking in, we were greeted warmly and assisted right away. We ordered turkey wings and fried chicken. Our sides were collard greens, mac & cheese, yams, and beans. Everything was absolutely delicious. The portions are a good size so we couldn't finish everything, but we loved every morsel.This restaurant is no frills, clean, and welcoming. The ambience is very friendly and great for families. The service is great. The prices are totally reasonable.I absolutely loved it, I would highly recommend it, and will definitely be back.
