“Great food. Amazing customer service! we order weekly from Rusch's and always love it. Tonight, we got home and realized a piece of the order was missing. No big deal, it happens. We called to ask if it was accidentally left out and could we come grab it and they insisted on driving it over! Customer service like this doesn't exist anymore. I was so impressed. You guys are the best!“

“This was my first visit to The Tavern and I was very favorably impressed. As one with Celiac disease, I was glad to see the menu marked with some items as GF, and that the staff were very knowledgeable and attentive to my allergy needs. The food was delicious, I will definitely come back next time I’m in town.“

“I was honored to be included at a family gathering at this wonderful establishment....excellent service, tasty food. I indulged myself with a most delightful night at their B&B.... Treat yourself to a very special time Thank you Roger & Charles“
“We stopped in after not wanting to wait for BBQ. We are foodies from NYC and were so impressed with the quality of service, the historic building and the food. The menu is a mix of a chophouse with a large selection of chef selections from paella, pasta and schnitzel. The chef is a CIA graduate which is surprising to find in Central NY. The food was fresh and i noted that the chef makes his own bread, dressing, aioli's and desserts. It's clear the chef puts care into his work.
We ordered
- house salad - solid salad with house dressing. nice, nothing crazy
- onion soup, this was excellent. really well done, from the croutons, cheese and flavor. wow
- calamari - the only thing we didnt love
- chicken schnitzle - excellent, authentic
- scallops - fresh, perfectly cooked. a bit too sauced, but great
- creamy garlic and spinach pasta - our kids didnt love, but decent
The desserts were great as well. The restaurant was very accommodating to our casual attire and 3 young kids. Amazingly kind. The entire experience is a bit like going back in time, the historic nature of the setting is hard to explain, but you really feel it.
Rooms: They have a BnB above the restaurant“

“First time at Lewis’ last night. The food was absolutely amazing. I loved the span between courses, never felt rush. Very comfortable little corner we sat in. As for our server Kiana, we understand she is new at serving, she did a great job. She was kind and professional. She took the time to speak clear and slowly for me husband, who happens to be hard of hearing. We will return again soon, and we will also insist on Kiana to be our server. Thank you to all the staff.“

“Stopped at Seven Oaks for lunch. The soup of the day was NE clam chowder. It was outstanding! Never had better! Also had the Phuket chicken wrap which was delicious. Prices were moderate and the dining area was very well done. I highly recommend,“
