“I was a bit skeptical about trying this place because every time I've driven by, it looks dead and there's not much to read online about it. I went in with low expectations but left very satisfied. It's a nice small townie bar/restaurant. The waitress was very nice and said that it gets busy for calm night. They have weekly specials and they freshly make most of the food. She said all the soups and mashed potatoes are homemade. They are reasonably priced and have large portions. It is well worth it. The food was delicious and I would definitely come back here!“
“Live Music Now outdoors for the summer. If you haven’t been here that’s just crazy!A beautiful interior 3 floors… 2 amazing exterior stages think colosseum, and in the shape of a heart. Incredible local musicians, themed tributes, specialty cocktails, local beers. The most friendly and welcoming place… Melinda (owner) is a saint and makes everyone know how special they are…as is she! It’s simply love, music, and acres of nature. Check out their website and get tickets and you will be amazed and leaving with full happiness and memories…????????✌️❤️?????“
“I love Darlene's!! Have been here so many times their breakfast is classic diner food and it's AMAZING! I love my Saturday excursions here with my family. Darlene is a gem and she is always so kind when we come in! Service is great; place is so cute too! Small but very home-like. I love it“
“Came upon this hidden gem by accident. Delicious turkey club, so large I had trouble getting my mouth around it! ?Shannon was friendly and attentive. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Great place if you're in the neighborhood. It's worth a little drive. Check them out on Facebook for specials ??“
“I had the Parm Crusted Baked Haddock which in my opinion was a touch over seasoned but it rang true on flavor. My partner and best friend for forty some years had a Creamy Pesto pasta dish which was perfect. A glass of house Pinot washed it all done. An empty plate is a happy palate.“
“Went there a few weeks ago on a Friday, specifically for the Cape Cod Reuben. The place is small but eclectic and fun. The staff was very friendly and had nice conversation with the bartender and some patrons while waiting for my sandwich. The poor girl behind the register was going a mile a minute but made sure to check my order before she handed it to me. The sandwich was excellent. I like that the slaw wasn't too sweet as to overpower the sandwich and the bite of the Swiss cheese complements the flavors. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to try more sandwiches.“
“I stopped by this restaurant from NYC to drop my son off to college and I must say this restaurant caught me by surprise. I had steak with shrimp meal and my husband had a burger and we both said this was the best meat we have ever had. The food was soooo good and FRESH that we have been talking about this restaurant for 6 months and cant wait to go back next week. When we received the bill we both looked at each other in shock lol it was so cheap compared to NYC, seriously cheap lol I was so happy and pleased. I have been to a lot of steak houses and restaurants in the city but this restaurant here is to die for. Service was very friendly, im a black woman so I was skeptical at first hoping I wouldnt face racism because of location but was greeted with smiles and waiter making sure we had everything we needed. This spot is a hidden gem and im addicted to it.“
“Great good, Amazing service, Atmosphere is good the energy is pretty great. Most people do not stare and the tables have proper spacing along with the privacy panels. So you don’t feel out of place. One of the few places I felt good enough to eat at and I did not regret a single bite.Parking: Only isn’t free if you go in and eat -that’s a joke by the way- but yeah no just the one big parking lotKid-friendliness: Saw a father and his three kids enjoying 6 different types of pie having a ball nothing made me happiest than to see that like out of a movieWheelchair accessibility: The front should be flat enough for any wheelchair or people on crutches there wasn’t any hood or jumps I saw this is from the parking lot face tho as you go to the building there’s a entrance on the side I wouldn’t recommend“
“I love this place! Tonight I had the featured dinner for Easter..I should have taken a picture, but I left my phone home. It was presented beautifully. Three lovely slices of ham with pineapple slices (w/golden brown edges) cooked to perfection. The ham was juicy and delicious. It was accompanied by a generous serving of yummy mashed potatoes and stuffing, as well as candied carrots. Large portions, which worked for me, as I had some left to bring home… Yay ? I only commented below on the things that I have eaten there. There is a a menu with many great choices.Parking: parking is both in front within 4-5 feet from the door.Kid-friendliness: There are always families with kids coming ands going. They are very welcome at the Gnome.Wheelchair accessibility: The sidewalk entry is a ramp.“
“Very nice place to bowl! I’m glad I stopped in. The employees that I interacted with were very helpful. I walked in and was able to get a lane for a few games without waiting. The pricing is very reasonable. The facility is very well kept and clean. There is food and beverages available. Over all it’s a fun place!Set back. Not really anything. It’s popular with the locals. The food looks good!“
“Outstanding service and great selection of food. I had the fish which was absolutely it was grouper and paired to perfection staff. Very attentive and menu varied in wide depending on specials. Great view of the lake. You can be indoors or outdoors. Fun place to go ?Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access is straight from the parking lot into the first store. Takes you right into the main dining room“
“Our "Happy Hour Club" was welcomed with open arms and we had a great time! Great food and service, good drink prices and friends together at a welcoming place....priceless! Thanks to Bri and the staff for making our evening so enjoyable!“
“I truly appreciate a place you can feel right at home. I have yet to have any bad service or food. Good Portions and offerings. Have seen owners take great care that the whole experience is a positive one for all. I am a creature of habit and when I find a place I feel at home I am very loyal. I would recommend topping off a great meal off with Raisin Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce. I actually enjoy the sauce over Ice Cream. Hey do not trust me, go and give them a try. I am sure you will appreciate the fine dining. Enjoy!“
“For a neighborhood restaurant they take pride in all their food. As I am a coni sore of " fish fries". This is the best fried fish and the French fry's are delicious too. So what are you waited for? Go to the Beach house for the best fish fry in western New York“
“Music was way too loud. Waitress told them to turn it down, but as soon as she was done taking our order, they turned the music right back up. The bass was up so high, it felt like it was booming in your chest. My husband had to take his hearing aids out because it was so loud. Then we couldn't even hear each other talking. Fish was good. Mac and cheese was very dry. Probably won't be back. It just isn't a good atmosphere for older people.“
“Love going to ‘The Root!’ I love that I can always get something different that I would never think of making at home, like shrimp meatballs!! Fantastic. We enjoy sitting at the bar but their whole space is cozy and beautiful. Service is great. Perfect place for a date night, have had bday dinners here with family and friends!! Love it ???“
“I don't love everything on the menu but their utica greens are delicious (super spicy) and I also enjoy the gouda fondue. Sitting at a table, the servers seem unhappy and bothered most time. Sitting at the bar is the way to go for a pleasant experience.“
“Loved this place , great food and service !! You can even stay in the Inn ( we would like too in future , didn't this visit ) my wife and I started with French onion soup, great ! Also a bread plate , yummy, especially the Ciabatta!!! Then we both ordered lazy man's surf and turf , she enjoyed the lobster more than me, just wasn't for me . The Fillet was 10 outta 10 , perfect“
“I'm not sure how I've never heard of this place before. Firstly, the food is amazing ??. We got the Cajun Shrimp and Cheesy Grits Eggs Benedict. The grits were fresh made and delicious ? The eggs were poached perfectly and the shrimp was grilled and season to perfection. We also ordered a side of home fries that were to die for. Also, I ordered a Bloody Mary which came with all the fixings. It was truly breakfast in a glass. The service was fun, funny and just what we needed this morning. The restaurant is decked out with 80's pop culture memorabilia and there's always something to look at. Even the restroom is amusing with a sticker on the toilet that says "Nice Butt" ??. I will be back and not just for breakfast!“
