“Our first visit tonight, we were greeted by the most kindest women. She was so knowledgeable and told us all her specials and recommendations. We had the best soup and meal. Very tasty. We then went to the bar and met John, we were able to sit on the deck with a perfect view and our greeter(John’s wife)came out and talked to us several times made us feel right at home. The baked beans are outstanding, haddock was perfectly fried and the onion rings were abundant and done to perfection. Our server - Tara - was on point with all she had going on as they had just been slammed with customers and she was doing it all with a smile and good attitude. Not fancy by any means but you will leave feeling like they will know your name next time you stop in.“

She made sure we had everything we needed the entire evening. We started with the braised beef short rib ravioli, which was beyond tasty—rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For my main course, I had the crusted pork chop with au gratin potatoes and escarole, and it was truly delicious and cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the manager even came out to wish me a happy birthday, which made the experience feel extra special. “Do you remember when you were a kid and your Dad would take you and your siblings out for breakfast on a Sunday morning to give your Mom a break, and the adults ordered eggs, drank coffee, and read the newspaper, and you got to decide between a donut or pancakes, and you felt so welcomed, and well-fed, and happy? However, after looking into your comments, it appears this review may have been intended for a different restaurant. We do not serve Gold Peak tea, we don't use Ken's dressings, and we do not serve mahi mahi.

To debunk a lot that is written here , first of all it was clean, and not tired. The hostess was smiling , and quick.Our waitress Amber was cheerful and took care of us right away.It was very busy and where we sat the cooks were working on over drive. We had the California club. It came at a reasonable time, well made fresh, and came with properly cooked fries, that were hot.i have no idea if the other reviewers got their opinions from but again, Yelp seems to have a lot of haters in general. we were very please, And BTW, one more thing, I checked out the restroom, clean, no smells.“
