“Let’s start with the food… nothing short of AMAZING. We got an array of food, chicken, veal, pasta, shrimp, calamari. The portion sizes are UNREAL. Enough for at least two meals after you eat. Now our waitress Brenda. She is everything a waitress should be and MORE. Unbelievable people skills. She made us feel like family, like we’ve known her forever. “We hosted the Rehearsal Dinner of our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding at The Mason Jar in April 2025. The atmosphere, decor, space and food offered us a relaxing and comfortable “night before” celebration! The staff was outstanding! So friendly and welcoming to our group. “I was very pleased with the quality of the porterhouse steak dinner special. The steak was cooked to perfection and had great flavor. The garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. I do not like spinach and it was the only vegetable option. No substitution. I opted to pay to substitute. And I had the rice which was very good. I do wish they had a second option for a vegetable. Otherwise everything was wonderful.“

Our waitress, Kari, was absolutely amazing—thoughtful with her recommendations, attentive without being overbearing, and she had such a refreshing, friendly personality. She made sure we had everything we needed the entire evening. We started with the braised beef short rib ravioli, which was beyond tasty—rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For my main course, I had the crusted pork chop with au gratin potatoes and escarole, and it was truly delicious and cooked to perfection. And the peanut butter pie for dessert was exactly the sweet treat I needed to end the night. To top it all off, the manager even came out to wish me a happy birthday, which made the experience feel extra special. It provided the way I thought it would, except for ONE FLAW.. So, I order the Make your Own Grand Slam with 2 Eggs (Ordered them over easy) 2 Bacon Strips, Toast, and Pancakes. It came pretty quick, 8 minutes, not bad. The eggs were suspicious. I checked them and, what do ya know? It's not cooked right. It's not cooked AT ALL. So, I get it remade of course. They remake it, but with extra surprise. The surprise? It was greater than if my mom cooked it. My waiter was so good with service and understanding. So, I just wanna say, thank you, Denny's Staff. :D“
