“Usually like the food at Mr Gs - I ordered fried fish dinner. Fish was overcooked, coating so hard on bottom of the 2 pieces. The mashed potatoes very dark and dry. The cole slaw was gross, it didnt seem like cabbage, more like kale. Since it was comped I didnt say anything. My wifes brolied fish was ok. The menu is the same old, week in and week out. A prime rib is offered on Weds in December, but why not have prime rib on weekends? Anyways not good last nite but will go again.“

“It has been my great pleasure to eat and drink and socialize at Nola’s for thirteen years.
The faces are always friendly and the offerings always delicious! I’ve seen the interior redecorated one or two times, indulged in takeout drinks during COVID, had strangers at the bar buy my dinner twice, and so much more. Nola’s and the people who run it are a huge blessing to the community!
After all that time, at long last I feel compelled to exalt the Nola’s experience and tell anyone who will listen about a new offering on the Spring 2026 menu:
The Nashville Hot Chicken
A gorgeous pair of beautifully breaded cutlets in a creamy dill blue cheese sauce that sets off the hot sauce and complements the accompanying stack of red cabbage slaw and sweet & sour pickles. It is a festival of flavors and textures any way you bite it.
It’s been on the menu for less than two weeks and I’ve come up with excuses to go eat it three times so far (soon to be four thank goodness!)
So, hustle on over and order that chicken!!!“

“Let’s start with the food… nothing short of AMAZING. We got an array of food, chicken, veal, pasta, shrimp, calamari. The portion sizes are UNREAL. Enough for at least two meals after you eat. Now our waitress Brenda. She is everything a waitress should be and MORE. Unbelievable people skills. She made us feel like family, like we’ve known her forever. She was absolutely INCREDIBLE!❤️ we’ll be back for sure!“
