“Best BBQ in the United States. Never had a bad meal there.Edited 4/4/24- haven't been since pre-COVID and it seems like everything's changed. I think the buns are different, seems like there's not as much pork in the pork sandwich...... Don't get me wrong, the food is still delicious....... Sign of the times. Miss the music.“
“Amazing food. Service was outstanding too. Prices were very affordable, imo… Especially for the quality food and service. Great place! Thursdays they have gnocchi (some of the best I have tasted) make sure to get yourself a bottle of the Masi wine! ?“
“Always a great experience! My husband and I don't get out on as many dates as we would like to, but when we do get the chance we almost always choose Eden. Food and service is always wonderful. I'm pregnant, and they made me a delicious off the menu mocktail!“
“We flew into Syracuse, but checked Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives to find a place to eat that the kids would like and this place fit the bill. We had the Jive Turkey, the chicken parm, the James Brownie, the Monte Christo, the chicken and waffles, and the chocolate chip waffle. Everything was fantastic! Our only disappointment was that the monte Cristo was light on toppings. The house sauce was the best syrup I have ever had. I could drink that stuff! We may have to find an excuse to head into Syracuse again.“
“Let's start with the atmosphere here. Beautiful lighting and non wobbly tables....great start. It's intimate....not small, but intimate. The service is.....pretty, pretty, pret-ty good. Seriously tho - tag team waitstaff is smart too the guest is never ledt looking for their waiter or waitress. And the food .... it is some of the best damn food in the greater Syracuse area. Best wings I've had in a few years folks and the specials are always changing and if you don't try it here, I can't be your friend and don't read my reviews anymore. Run. Don't walk to TDH Tavern. Had to wheel me out last time....damn!“
“Pretty decent food, great atmosphere! Clam soup had too many potatoes and not many clams. The spicy cheese curds were great! Humus was amazing. Our waitress was fantastic! Also had a great passion fruit something that was alcoholic and tasty. Drink portion was very generous.“
“I went here for Valentine’s Day and come here often with my fiance. Can’t say enough GOOD about this place. The food is great. The atmosphere is so peaceful and the staff are very friendly. Don’t leave syracuse without stopping here. Staple hands down.“
“Great dining located in the heart of the Northside. It's a bit unexpected in terms of location, but as you walk in, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. Even more impressive is their menu. It may look like a pub from the outside, but it's pretty clear as you walk in and dine, that's its far from that. I've had lunch and dinner here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The complimentary HOT bread is fresh and delicious. The meal portions are enough for either 2 to share, or take home for lunch the next day. The service has always been friendly and professional. Riley's isn't very big, so if you want to be ensured of a table, go around 4:30/5pm.“
“If you want a burger…. GO HERE! They have won best burger in the state the last 3 years and 4 other times in the last 10. The burgers are big and good meat. There are some very interesting ones. I had one with strips of steak on top and horse radish. Delicious. The pretzel appetizer was big and super soft. Get the cheese with it. The sweet potato fries were excellent. The tots were a disappointment. Service was very good. The place is nothing special. My one disappointment was my burger was medium rare instead of rare“
“Hosted a professional Networking Part here for a local group. Maria and her staff were wonderful, they made everything so easy. The private event space is so spacious with a mix of high tops and tables. Food was wonderful and everything was seamless. We can't wait for next year to have our event here again!“
“Looking for a local breakfast joint to start our day, a Google search yielded the interesting Sunshine's Coffee Shop with good reviews, so we made our way over there. A little off the beaten path around the Syracuse airport, but totally visible on the corner. We placed our order for breakfast sandwiches and the home fries with onions. Plus coffee. All delicious! Sunshine's is a small place, with a couple booths plus small tables. Very homey feel. Great way to start our day!!“
“The focaccia, deviled eggs, salmon, and the carrot cake were fantastic! Our server Maggie was wonderful. The atmosphere was great. The people who work there were very friendly and happy.Dietary restrictions: They had vegan, gf, and vegetarian options.“
“Another cool cat cafe in Syracuse. Enjoy a bowl of Ramen in the dining area and then hangout with adorable cats. One of my favorite places in general now.Parking: There's a parking lot next to the building but I wasn't sure at the time if I could park there. Says reserved for residents. There was street parking a little bit down the street from the location though.“
“Tried to famous wolf's den Sunday brunch! They post what they are making weekly, so check it out before making your reservation. It's all prepared and ready to go as soon as you walk in, including your 2 brunch cocktails. It's clean, neat and organized. I loved the Crème Brûlée French toast & getting to try a few different salads, like the tabouli, and different desserts in a much more relaxed atmosphere. The servers were super kind - bonus, the bathroom had two open toilets which my sisters and I loved, LOL.“
“Went to this place for the first time this past weekend and I’ll definitely be back! The women bartending was very attentive, and pleasant! Glasses, bar, and the entire place was clean—and the atmosphere was comfortable. Now to the best part of this place…THE FOOD IS AMAZING!! I met some friends here around 8-9 Saturday and was starving. I ordered a cheeseburger, dirty rice and baked Mac and cheese. All of these where amazing!! The food was good quality, serving sizes were more than enough (had some to take home), and everything I got tasted amazing!! So happy I found this place! I will definitely be ordering here when I need to pick up dinner for my family….and I suggest everyone else stop in here too.“
“5 stars and if there’s more stars i would put it tooStrongly recommendedWe had a party of 18 people todayMy daughter birthdayAnd the Manager was so welcomingAnd the waitress Emma was so welcoming and polite.Thank you to all the managers and employeesWe were all so happy for this experienceThank you“
“Friday night is fish Friday night at Dmlins which is the name of the golf course for the restaurant is located. Excellent food. I had chicken. My wife had fish. Both were delicious kitchen. Got a little boatloaded at first but they caught up pretty quickly. Very nice atmosphere and the view of the deer out on the golf course was also wonderful“
“Definitely one of my favorite brunch spot in Syracuse. Heads up it’s always packed during the weekend so you have to give them a call to join the waitlist. Apart from that, the service is great, the food is really tasty and affordable, the staff are friendly and helpful when it comes to some recommendations because it’s a lot on the menu. I enjoy the mimosa flight and the frittata so much. I highly recommend this place for a boozy brunch with friends lol.“
“So many options for all different diets including a full vegan menu! The atmosphere is very down to earth- great for an adults night out or there’s a small play area for kids. Service is outstanding, above and beyond.Vegetarian options: An entire menu of vegan offerings in poutine and burgers as well as appetizers“
“Absolutely blown away! I had been told that Tully's was good, but this was something else! The food was amazing, as were the drinks (I had raspberry cosmopolitans). The service was incredibly friendly and helpful, and FAST! I was very impressed by how quickly our food was ready, and SOOOO good! The hot sauce especially was a perfect balance of spicy and flavor. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Totally worth 5?“
“An awesome bar/restaurant. Everything from the beer to the food was excellent. There is extra seating in the back and parking available on the side of the bar. The chicken wings are some of the best you'll ever have. Change of Pace is highly recommended! ?“
“From the friendly faces welcoming me in to the juicy, perfect Philly cheesesteak, it was a game-winning experience. The staff genuinely seemed to enjoy the buzz of the cheering crowd and spreading smiles, making me feel like part of the team. And that Philly? MVP of the meal, hands down.“
“Tried Nestico's Too today for the first time and will definitely return! They have a nice variety of items to choose from and have something for everyone on their menu. Unlike the main Nestico's restaurant, they're more like a diner, but also have excellent food. It was really hard to decide what to order because there were many items that sounded delicious. I sat close to the counter and was able to see other people's orders and everything looked great. The portion sizes were generous too. I also noticed they had some really good salads on their menu for those like me that love salads. However, I did not order one of their salads. I've decided to try one on another visit, possibly in the summer when it's warmer. Instead I opted for their chicken riggies, which were really tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant and if you're looking for some good riggies, give them a try! Their service was also very good and the kitchen staff is very efficient.“
“I am forever in search of a great haddock dinner. I actually avoid it on most menus because I'm very picky.I am happy to find a perfectly cooked ( most places over cook it... it only takes a minute!) fried haddock. The prices are very reasonable and the menu has a nice variety. It's servers have great timing and know the products they're serving. The white wine I had was just the right temp. I'm picky about that too.The place has a friendly atmosphere and I'm fortunate that it's in my own backyard.“
“The best vegan mac and cheese that I have ever had. I hope this place sees a ton of success in their future and are able to expand as there are not a lot of good vegan options in the area. This one completely surpasses all expectations. The workers are always so kind, offering me samples and letting me try food while I wait for my order! Even my dairy eating friends appreciated the mac and cheese, so it's approved by both sides.“
“Brunch is always the answer. The question? Doesn’t matter LOLRolled up here with one of the kiddos for a college visit and thought how could we go wrong eating copious amounts of food off of boards? Two people with two boards was PLENTY! I would recommend hitting this place up with a group to be able to try more and just eat more in general bwaaaa! I’m a fan of randomness on a board! I enjoyed the variety…we had the breakfast poutine and the griddle board. I think I would’ve like some sort of meat board in my life…but opted for a sweet and a savory board option. Nothing was overly amazing or terrible, I enjoyed the concept!Cute spot and they have some tables outside as well. Could see coming after work with some friends or having a girls outing!“
“Colemans is the hub of the Irish neighborhood Tipperary Hill. If you're coming to Tipp Hill, this should he your first stop. The food great. The beer is green in March. The entertainment is great. There are plenty of places to get drinks. If there is a big event they usually have other food trucks there too.“
“The Short Rib Mushroom Risotto was decent, could have had a more unique flavor. The scotch egg was also a nice touch to my meal. The staff were busy and overwhelmed with Easter but they eventually and fairly got to me with my requests. Overall a good “
“I love this place!! The food is excellent!! The owner and server are very nice too. I highly recommend it. My husband and I eat there about once a week. The fish on Friday is very very good. Love the Mac and cheese and coleslaw too😊“
“Today was the first try, I will definitely come again. I had a dozen breaded Nashville Hot Wings and they were on point! Sizeable and meaty with great flavor, looking forward to trying the other flavors. I also had a bowl of the Chicken Enchilada soup, also delicious and a good-size portion for the bowl.“
“We stopped in just looking for a place to eat and was amazed. They seem to imply they are a craft beer place with pub fare. I'd argue the food is well above pub fare and the beer selection is limited, but with amazing options. Its wonderful what they have done with simply dishes, amazing pretzel, short rib grilled cheese, and the tenderloin skewers app was a full meal in itself.“
“Varsity is great! Seriously, if you're into fresh salads and good service, this place is where it's at.I'm hooked on their Chef Salad – always fresh, always delicious. Also, the Blueberry Lemon Cookie is great. I love the mix of those two flavors. And let's talk about the folks behind the counter – always on point and making sure you're well taken care of. I would highly recommend Varsity!“
“In town from Rochester to see a show and wow, this place did not disappoint! The milkshakes were delicious and the food was outstanding! And every one of the staff couldn't have been nicer. Will definitely come back next time we're in town.“
“I called days in advance for a reservation and never received a call back. My sister just happened to show up a day early and they were able to accommodate our large party last minute. I'm thankful for the staff because when we arrived the line was out the door. We had a party of 13. Do not go by the prices online . They have not been updated. I planned on paying cash until I got there and it was $100 more than I had figured. Everything was good and the kitchen kept up well for as busy as they were. Our waitress could have been a little better with drink service but they were busy. Cleaned plates every time she walked by. All and all good experiences for my family. For Half of the table it was their first time ever eating there.“
“This food truck is cute and has a variety of options. We stopped at a brewery and LB was parked outside. It was sort of cold and LB's chili warmed us up.They have other food options I'd love to try the next time I see this food truck. The owner is very friendly and nice too. I'd recommend ordering food if you see this truck!“
“I've been to Tully's plenty of times. We went on Saturday, a day before St.Pattys day, and we only had to wait around 10 minutes to be seated. The waitress was friendly and pretty attentive.I usually get their famous tenders, and they didn't disappoint like usual. The restaurant was a little messy, but it was also a busy Saturday before a holiday so that's understandable. I've never really had a bad experience going here.“
“Went to see Greg Morton for second time. He didn't disappoint. Food was served quickly and also delicious. Bacon potato skins were best I ve ever eaten anywhere. Only one loud drunk trying to get in show. Funny bone employee who was 6'6" spoke to him. No further issues. Was a great night.“
“Best place in town for oysters for sure. Knowledgeable bartenders who can make a proper cocktail with care and attention. Large food portions. Prices seem to be in line with most of the other restauants in Syracuse. Overall a great upscale but not pretentious option downtown. Closest thing to a NYC brasserie in Syracuse.“
“Fantastic food and drinks at great prices. If you have a good head for alcohol and want strong, well made drinks, the bartenders can't be beat. We had a birthday party there and all the other customers were so friendly and fun. It was a most memorable night.“
“It was cool to run into Norma my dated sisters best friend. Good place to go great beers and great folks.Wheelchair accessibility: Watched a brother in a wheelchair come to the bar and ask for his favorite and everyone told him see you tomorrow so he must be a regular.“
“An extremely welcoming atmosphere with amazing food. First time I arrived, me and three of my friends were given free samples. Food was so good I ordered what we were given for free samples (Chicken over Rice).Owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly. You can tell this restaurant takes hygiene and cleanliness very seriously. If anyone is looking for a spot for quick eats in the Syracuse area, be sure to give this spot a try.“
