“Tonight was my first time here, so many good things to say! The restaurant was packed I thought for sure it was gonna put a delay on getting our food but nope, it came out in no time! Very flavorful and portions were perfect. The best part about our experience was our server, Jeanne-Louise she was simply AMAZING, full of energy knew the menu front to back with no hesitation, very personable and kept my fiancé and myself laughing the entire time! She never left us sitting for too long and accommodated to our needs with no issues! We will 100% be returning ??? keep up the great work Jeanne-Louise!“

“This place is hands down awesome, the food, the service, ambiance, can't even explain how good it is. Food is always awesome and done to perfection. Not many restaurants in the Syracuse area can even compete with this place. And the owner Charlie is one of the best. Always calls to see how your meal and experience was extremely nice guy. A lot of places have closed in our area. But the wife and I either go here. Or to the other steakhouse up the street. Daniella's located in the best western at the fair. Both places are phenomenal. Highly recommend. Great for live entertainment at times and all you can eat crab legs a few times a month. Located in the fair at the Old empire room.“

“Well today was Valentine's Day and the start of lent, so it's fish for dinner. We selected Cause Catch & Grill for its selection of everything fishy. We selected the twin lobster tails, red potatoes and steamed broccoli, and the seafood platter that continues a huge portion of haddock, three shrimp and large tender scallops with butter drenched corn.We enjoyed the food, however the atmosphere was bare of details except for the window murals and the back wall decorations. We didn't have the pumpkin cheesecake but it looked amazing. I suggest this place for really tasty seafood.Parking: Limited number of parking spaces located next to the building.“

Food was great and the table was dressed with napkins, gloves, crackers, and table cloths.I recommend the snow crab combo meal for $40. King crab was also ordered and though king crab is harder to crack and pointier, bigger meat is worth the struggle! The atmosphere is unconventional, it was in an unexpected almost hidden location with some seating.“

“Moving back to the area I couldn't be more grateful to be just up the block from Fish Cove. The new layout and design of the space is very functional, the staff is always incredible double checking you've gotten what you need before heading to check out. I'd note it is Cash only. We always get 2 fish sandwiches and 2 fries. Sometimes we'll shake it up and get an order of calamari, or shrimp, but their fried mushroom, zucchini, and onion rings are excellent sides. I really liked the mushrooms a lot, very juicy and flavorful! Thank you Fish Cove for always being kind and giving solid portions. Don't change a thing!“

“the steak is quite excellent. five stars.i was mildly confused when our server asked us if we wanted anything to drink (wine) three times. i'm glad she checked because some people may feel anxious to ask for alcohol and giving them the opportunity to order some may help.while that may be the case for others, it is definitely not what we needed. i'm a recovering alcoholic and underage, and the other person (out of three) needed to drive. one person at our table ordered one glass of wine before we ordered appetizers. perhaps she was trying to check on him first and then would double check with us too.i don't hold anything against the server, in fact i wouldn't know how to go about the situation myself if i was a server or manager. not the slightest clue. it's a strange predicament and i don't blame anyone for how it was handled.the service was excellent. i appreciate how patient our server was, given the energy at the table. she was great with showing us the menu options and had an impressive knowledge of wine. if i had money to pitch in for the tip, i would have doubled it. she deserved it.the atmosphere is good. i really appreciated the interior of that building and i loved that the restaurant was in the basement. i was mildly uncomfortable with the atmosphere several times. i grew up in some hardcore poverty, and i barely knew how to hold myself many times. i tried to remember how the kids stood and sat when they were being "proper" in the privileged public school i went to. i kept thinking about how different it was to be able to be there, compared to how i lived when i was homeless.good restaurant. if you can afford it, try the NY strip steak.Dietary restrictions: i was able to stay on my low FODMAP diet with no problems.Wheelchair accessibility: i didn't see wheelchair accessible parking. i think they should increase their wheel traffic. (as opposed to foot traffic)“
