It will be my first and last time buying a fish sandwich and fries. I didn't care for the poor customer service. One of the cooks, a tall middle aged white guy with a beard carelessly handled my piece of fish by tossing it from the fryer to the bread. He's a very rush type of guy especially when there were hardly no customers. Fish Cove should be mindful of how they deal with customers especially considering it's a new and larger building. I went on a Sunday night for fish sandwiches. It was a strange setup where you stay to the left and follow signs if you’re there for sandwiches. There was a cooler for salads, but nothing left but some not so fresh cabbage salad. I placed my order and asked if I could get an order of fries. I was told not in the sandwich line.The fish was fresh and delicious. Moving back to the area I couldn't be more grateful to be just up the block from Fish Cove. The new layout and design of the space is very functional, the staff is always incredible double checking you've gotten what you need before heading to check out. I'd note it is Cash only. We always get 2 fish sandwiches and 2 fries. Sometimes we'll shake it up and get an order of calamari, or shrimp, but their fried mushroom, zucchini, and onion rings are excellent sides.
