Was in the area for an appointment and did a search for a nearby place to have lunch. CopperTop was close by. The place is nice. The staff were friendly. Our waiter was very attentive and nice. The food was very good. Overall a nice place to have lunch.
Amazing good and great service! Had a great meal at a table so I came back the next day and had a wonderful time at the bar.
We went on a Wednesday afternoon for a birthday lunch date. The service was fantastic. The staff greeted us as soon as we entered, and our server, Ruby, came over to greet us shortly after we sat. The dining room has nice decor. The dining room filled up with customers and we had no trouble hearing each other across our booth as we talked. CopperTop Tavern DeWitt is a beautiful new space where guests can enjoy a meal by the fireplace. The menu has a huge selection, with food described as wonderful, delicious, and worth the wait. Specific dishes receive high praise: the chicken tender appetizer is a huge, delicious portion called the best in a long time, the shepherd’s pie transports diners with its great taste, the Buffalo mac n cheese and fish tacos are delicious, and the Cuban sandwich is loved. For dessert, the apple fritters are a standout, served hot and fresh, while the ice cream sundae is a happy surprise for younger guests.
Service is consistently noted as excellent, amazing, attentive, friendly, and hospitable. Staff members are kind, welcoming, and provide great recommendations, making families with children feel especially comfortable. The atmosphere is bustling, often full and on a wait, indicating its popularity.
