“I visited Thursday & was excited as i know Thursday special is turkey dinner, which i get frequently. I was disappointed- they chaned the stuffing recipe, dint like it at all. I asked for my gravy in the side ,not on my potatoes, good thing it was a brown salty gravy. The sweet potato casserole didnt measure up either ruhnny & to top it off the food was luke warm. They were extrenely busy but come on both turjey dinners were below the normal standard.“

The pizza is delicious, and the Thai Chili wings are some of the best around. A great local spot I’m always happy to recommend!“

My wife and I came in for lunch and thought it was good. I had their soul and sandwich lunch meal which was a good value.

I opted for their French Onion soup and it was delicious. Super cheesy and the broth was excellent as well. Their chicken tenders were good and their house honey mustard was a nice dipping sauce.

Our server was attentive and helpful.

Good lunch spot, although nothing spectacular. Enjoyed it and would go again.“

“We were seated immediately even though there were a ton of vehicles in the parking lot. Had our drinks in less than 2 minutes of sitting down. Our food came in a timely manner. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The manager made a brief stop to see how we were enjoying our meal.
I had the Hibachi salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. Broccoli was a little too over streamed but that's my personal preference, otherwise everything was delicious. My partner had the French Onion burger that she enjoyed.

“This place is a hidden gem in the center of Syracuse NY. The sauce for the mussels was extraordinary and well thought out! The glaze on the salmon was exquisite. The salmon was cooked ro perfection.

The atmosphere was quiet as it was a Wednesday. But very open and relaxing!

The service was interesting. Isabella was my waitress. A young college student who just finished at a local community college and said she was considering continuing her education in business finance. I see nothing but success in this young girls future! She is professional, and appears to have a solid work ethic as well!

If you are a local, give this place a try. And if you are traveling from out of town and staying in the hotel, you have a really good place to eat right downstairs!

“I got married on 9/13/2025 at 916 Riverside and it was one of the best wedding related decisions my husband and I made. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception on site and it was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The ceremony was held outdoors on their patio, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how visually stunning it was. We primarily communicated with Jake, the owner, and Brooke, one of the head staff. They were both incredibly helpful and responded immediately whenever we reached out. Anytime I suggested something or asked if it was possible to do X, Y, or Z - Jake accepted with open arms and supported all of our ideas to make our big day personable and meaningful. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but doing so via Jake and Brooke made it as painless as possible, and that is something I am very grateful for. Staff paid attention to small details and ensured that everything got done in the way we envisioned and requested. At the end of our reception, Jake’s staff cleaned up quickly and packed all decorations and center pieces onto two designated tables, which made it that much easier for my husband and I to pick up and pack up everything the day after. Everything went smoothly from start to finish and there’s truly nothing I can critique. 916 Riverside will always be special to us, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat for any couples who are hunting for a venue. “Best place to have a party in event room. Maria is the best to work with. Responded very quickly to inquire of room for my father’s birthday celebration. Lots of choices for food and the pizza oven has a variety of tasty pizzas to choose from. Kim DeStefano was the best bartender, quick, efficient and exceptionally friendly. The event room was everything I wanted & could have imagined to celebrate my dad’s 80th. Highly recommend with working with Marie for any parties in the future. Although the choices were limited, the food was great. I had the best ever Short Rib dinner. Portion could have been a bit larger considering the $28 price. But the meat was tender and flavorful. Our server was wonderful and it was just a fun atmosphere.“

They do seem to get very busy though. Parking can be limited.“

Nicki, the bar tender was friendly and kind and made a mean cocktail. All I can say is come for the cocktails and stay for the food. I can't wait to go back!“
