It was a soggy snowy day and the cilantro landed in a muddy puddle. I picked it up and brought it to the nearest worker. Our conversation went like this…. Me: Hello I’m so sorry I dropped this cilantro on the floor. Her: Yea? Me: What would you like me to do with it? Her: You can put it back on the shelf. Me: Ummm It was on the soggy floor. Her: Yup! That’s why we tell you to wash your produce. She then takes the cilantro and puts it back!!!! 🤢🤷🏻‍♀️ After she walked away, I grabbed the floor cilantro (I can’t have someone buy that) and brought it to a manager at customer service. The manager fully agreed with me that it was disgusting to put it back. Not sure if that lady was having a bad day or if this is company policy but warning to all my Cicero shoppers……..wash that produce!!!“

“Decent lunch at a reasonable price.

My wife and I came in for lunch and thought it was good. I had their soul and sandwich lunch meal which was a good value.

I opted for their French Onion soup and it was delicious. Super cheesy and the broth was excellent as well. Their chicken tenders were good and their house honey mustard was a nice dipping sauce.

Our server was attentive and helpful.

“I live between Syracuse and Rochester and was in Syracuse. I’ve passed by Apizza Regionale several times and finally stopped. I ordered an Apizza with sausage to go. I’ve heard of New Haven style and Apizza but have never had it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The crust had a slight blackening on the bottom and was still airy and tasty. The sauce was perfect as was the sauce. It was very delicious and will definitely be back again. I also want to say how great the service was. The waitress that took my order was very pleasant and professional. I had knee surgery a couple weeks ago and when I returned to pick up my order she carried it out to my car for me. “#1 spot in Cuse. Better Korean food than in LA. Better Korean food than in Korea (maybe). Idk what they put in the seafood noodle soup CHAMBONG, but I have gotten it for four years and never been happier in my life. Bulgogi, chicken bulgogi, kalbi, tteok bok ki, boo dae chigae, and the dumpling soup are all spectacular. The food is unbelievable. Everything is good.“

“We were seated immediately even though there were a ton of vehicles in the parking lot. Had our drinks in less than 2 minutes of sitting down. Our food came in a timely manner. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The manager made a brief stop to see how we were enjoying our meal.
I had the Hibachi salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. Broccoli was a little too over streamed but that's my personal preference, otherwise everything was delicious. My partner had the French Onion burger that she enjoyed.

“Stella's is one of my favorite places for fish on Friday. They have it fried, broiled or grilled. Recently I was there and ordered mashed potatoes with my fish. I did not specify without gravy. When the waitress brought my dinner I was upset because it had gravy. She took them back to the kitchen. When she returned it seemed that I had more than before. Unfortunately I am allergic to gluten, which was in the gravy. For the last 2 days, I have been having symptoms related to eating gluten.“

“Update (Spring 2026):
I’ve now been to Vietnam and Ky Duyen is on par with some of the best I had there and is even better than some of them. They continue to be my favorite Banh Mi in the area.
Their iced coffee leaves something to be desired for my taste though unfortunately. A big part of this is my preference for white coffee (bạc xỉu) and the salted cream coffee (cà phê muối). My favorite combo is to buy a banh mi and drive down the road to the newly opened Wake Up for their salted cream coffee.

Update (11/7/2023):
Finally got to come back as I had the day off from work and could make it up before they sold out. Banh Mi is still great, though I found that I very much did not enjoy the cold cut option. I’ve now had 3 (BBQ Pork), 1 (Roasted Pork), and 2 (Cold Cut) and would recommend them in that order. BBQ pork was amazing, roasted pork was great, and cold cut had me questioning if I wanted to finish it. Not bad or gross, just completely not my taste/preference. I fully plan on being back in the future to try number 4 (shredded pork) so I can figure out which one is truly my favorite and future go to.

Typically the 443 shows go for a little under 2 hours for many reasons; curfew among them. Not so on a Sunday afternoon!
