“The food was very good. The house Italian dressing was delicious. Utica greens very very good. Sausage and meatballs and sauce all exceptional and portions were over the top. Beyond all of that, I can't say enough about the service. We were there on a Saturday night, and were seated immediately. “Syracuse halal gyros food is 100/10… huge portions, reasonable prices, and absolutely delicious. They are open late which is great because there aren’t many options open late these days. “My friend and I stopped there to eat before we went to the Landmark. We both ordered sangrias and taco salads. Salsa, chips and waters were delivered to the table without asking. Our server, James, was friendly and helpful. The food and drinks is were served quickly. The taco salads were delicious. Cost was about $35 per person. Any bill over $50 the tip was figured into the bill. Would come here again.“

“The staff was very nice and welcoming. The food was great. We started off with ginger tea as it was a very cold night with high winds (Imagine that in CNY). Then we enjoyed the Fresh Summer Rolls. We had two orders, but they are so big that we both only ate half (and took the remainder home) so you could easily be satiated with one order for two people. For our entrees we had Pad See Eiw with Beef and Pad Prig King with Chicken. Both dishes were very good and as far as the portions, we took home approximately half of both. “I live between Syracuse and Rochester and was in Syracuse. I’ve passed by Apizza Regionale several times and finally stopped. I ordered an Apizza with sausage to go. I’ve heard of New Haven style and Apizza but have never had it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The crust had a slight blackening on the bottom and was still airy and tasty. The sauce was perfect as was the sauce. It was very delicious and will definitely be back again. I also want to say how great the service was. The waitress that took my order was very pleasant and professional. I had knee surgery a couple weeks ago and when I returned to pick up my order she carried it out to my car for me. “Just returned from one of the best shows of this still young year - Nachos and Blancos featuring Syracuse all-timers Los Blancos. Typically the 443 shows go for a little under 2 hours for many reasons; curfew among them. Not so on a Sunday afternoon! Colin and the band killed for 2 hours +, and those lucky ones (like us) in attendance got everything and more. Thanks, as always, to Julie and Co. for one more unforgettable experience!“

“Stella's is one of my favorite places for fish on Friday. They have it fried, broiled or grilled. Recently I was there and ordered mashed potatoes with my fish. I did not specify without gravy. When the waitress brought my dinner I was upset because it had gravy. She took them back to the kitchen. When she returned it seemed that I had more than before. Unfortunately I am allergic to gluten, which was in the gravy. For the last 2 days, I have been having symptoms related to eating gluten.“

“#1 spot in Cuse. Better Korean food than in LA. Better Korean food than in Korea (maybe). Idk what they put in the seafood noodle soup CHAMBONG, but I have gotten it for four years and never been happier in my life. Bulgogi, chicken bulgogi, kalbi, tteok bok ki, boo dae chigae, and the dumpling soup are all spectacular. The food is unbelievable. Everything is good.“

“Update (Spring 2026):
I’ve now been to Vietnam and Ky Duyen is on par with some of the best I had there and is even better than some of them. They continue to be my favorite Banh Mi in the area.
Their iced coffee leaves something to be desired for my taste though unfortunately. A big part of this is my preference for white coffee (bạc xỉu) and the salted cream coffee (cà phê muối). My favorite combo is to buy a banh mi and drive down the road to the newly opened Wake Up for their salted cream coffee.

Update (11/7/2023):
Finally got to come back as I had the day off from work and could make it up before they sold out. Banh Mi is still great, though I found that I very much did not enjoy the cold cut option. I’ve now had 3 (BBQ Pork), 1 (Roasted Pork), and 2 (Cold Cut) and would recommend them in that order. BBQ pork was amazing, roasted pork was great, and cold cut had me questioning if I wanted to finish it. Not bad or gross, just completely not my taste/preference. I fully plan on being back in the future to try number 4 (shredded pork) so I can figure out which one is truly my favorite and future go to.
