A 30-year staple of the region and a national treasure, with an iconic interior designed by Pee Wee Herman’s dad and a lot of love and pep and zest put into some savory dishes. Comfortable, tasty, nostalgic. The garage next door is sweet as heck, and the classic cars in the lot and on the lifts add a special flair to the already fun vibes. So grateful we stumbled upon the joint. Super friendly service and owners. Loved breakfast.
What a blast and great food! Biscuits and gravy, truly one of the best I’ve ever had, super fries and burgers like they should be served. A working jukebox, vintage pinball machine, so fun to play, we had a blast there. Thanks Heather, we’ll be back.
Stopped by Soda Jerks and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a unique spot, a diner attached to a body shop. The homemade sodas were excellent and something you don’t come across often, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s easy to drive right past if you don’t know it’s there, but once you spot the Action Lube sign, you’ve found it. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area and looking for something a little different.
