Chinese Restaurants in Oneonta

“I was a solo traveler waiting for the bus and I came here back in March 2025 because my bus back to my school wasn't until 6 PM. I was hungry and trekked 8 minutes in the snow in wet boots. I just wanted to leave this review to thank you for back then for being so hospitable to a young, starving girl. I was scared that I would starve and you guys took good care of me back then. If I ever make the journey back to Oneonta I will stop by.“

“All I can say is WOW!! I have lived in the Laurens/ Morris area for almost 20 years now.... I was a big fan of the China Buffet on the west end of Oneonta on Chestnut and have been to just about every Chinese restaurant in Oneonta, New Berlin, and Cooperstown, but for some reason the No. 1 Chinese restaurant has always eluded me..
For some reason I just didn't feel attracted to it. However, I was led there by my girlfriend and boy don't feel like a dummy! I should have realized that if this place has been here this long, then maybe they are No. 1! This will be the only Chinese restaurant I eat at in town again! Hats off to you No. 1 Chinese restaurant! Thank you!“

“A long-standing restaurant of Oneonta that has survived and flourished over the years. For some of the meals they offer family style dish sharing options. Always willing to adapt their menu to suit the customers choice some items that are marked hot can be asked to have the heat removed whereas in Reverse you can add heat to just about any item. Very nice family-oriented and family ran establishment“
