“100% the best Chinese restaurant in the greater area. I grew up right outside of Philly and lived in NYC for a few years so it’s been a bit of a sacrifice moving upstate where it’s harder to find as many stellar restaurants. We loved Moon Star and were so excited to find a new spot that we love and are impressed with. Their Crispy Garlic Chicken is sooo good!“
“The person that runs the place does everything by herself including prepping cooking and cashiering. She's quick and efficient. She makes a special order for me when needed. The place is clean. It's very small. this is mainly a takeout type restaurant.I ranked her five stars for atmosphere because the place is clean. But I would not eat at the restaurant. There are three little tables. To the person that commented about the lunch menu. It is printed on the back of the dinner menu. She also speaks broken English, so she may not have understood what you were asking for. I have never had bad service here.“
“everything is perfect in my opinion always go there for lunch and i actually going to go today for the general t`so chicken meal!Updating my review 9 years later it still tastes great and the owners are hard workers, been going there since I was a child and it’s still my go to. Get the Crab Rangoon, and be amazed.“
“Let me start with wishing Ming and Kim the very best and reporting that I am willing to give the new owners a chance. Except, I love my favorites. Great news, the recipe for Crispy Shrimp with black bean sauce has been shared (item #14 on the Chinese Traditon[sic] Food portion of the menu). Regrettably Crispy Chicken w black pepper and sesame oil (same part of the menu #37) still needs tweaking. No more oranges. Interior is unchanged. Willing to go back as I prepare to search out the Beef with black bean curd.“
“The BEST Chinese food in this area by far!! I'm extremely picky when dining out, although I don't sit eat in at this place only takeout, Their vegetable chow main and sweet and sour chicken, sesame, general Tao chicken are all amazing!!!!!! The owner is awesome and I absolutely love this place, I won't go anywhere else for take out Chinese food!!!“
“Atmosphere is amazing... lovely decorated and tranquil ambiance. The service was excellent. Cindy asked the right questions to help you pick your food, she was very attentive, and amazingly nice. Definitely will be coming back again! Thank you.“
“Very friendly, hard working staff. I deliver food through delivery apps and always look forward to getting a good offer from this place, because I know it will be a positive experience unlike many other places. Haven't had the food yet but I'm sure its good.“
“Absolutely love the food - my favorite is shrimp with garlic sauce extra spicy which I greatly enjoy as lunch takeout. The broccoli with garlic sauce is also very flavorful and made fresh. It’s the best value Chinese takeout in the area. The owner is super nice and always greets you with a smile.Vegetarian options: Broccoli with Garlic sauce and hot and sour soup“
“We frequently get takeout from this location. We used to live right across the street, and we would get take out all the time, but even though we’ve moved a few miles away, it’s still our go to chinese restaurant. The woman at the front counter is absolutely lovely, and has even offered to help me carry my food to my car when I had my son with me. Absolutely delicious food, cannot recommend the crab rangoons enough“
“I've been eating their food since like 12 yrs ago when they had their restaurant by the old Weis across from burger King the best !!!!!Kid-friendliness: No problem been their with my kids many of times !!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes front door is heavy for security reasons however your good .“
“Some of the best chinese food I've ever had in years. The portions were generous, pepper steak was perfectly cooked, and sweet & sour pork was exactly what I was craving. In terms of quality and price, this place is hard to beat. It's probably one of the best chinese takeout spots in the area, and perhaps even in the entire northeast region. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area.“
“This place almost gets a 5 star rating. The only thing that was holding it back it the sometimes stringy chicken that you occasionally get with Chinese. Thankfully, there were only a few pieces like that. I ordered the Orange chicken, which was crispy, and had plenty of sauce and a few broccoli pieces mixed in. Good hefty portions, too. Food was done very promptly as well. Reasonably to boot“
“The food it’s amazing and the staff are pretty nice. I love that it’s just across the street. do I even have to mention that the food it’s ready in minutes. The service it’s fast and the food it’s delicious. Totally recommend you’ll probably end up buying food from here every time lol.“
“Best consistently tasty and well-prepared Chinese food in Binghamton ( actually it's in Vestal). Delicious! You will want to get takeout, it's not a place you want to sit inside at the small tables. Also it is a tiny building, perched in a small lot on the north side of Vestal parkway with limited parking space. Be careful, it is easy to drive past it in the dark - the sign was also in disrepair so it was hard to see.“
“I think this place absolutely nails American style Chinese food. You have to assume that that's what youre going for here. I haven't tried to get anything particularly chinese here but their sweet and sour pork, general tsao's chicken and lo mien are fantsastic. A little on the salty side but the meat is good quality and the fry is really spot on. The restaurant itself is a little small but I really have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend it. The takeout is quick and serves in 15-20 minutes tops. This has become my go-to tricities American Chinese food spot.“
